    • Most efficient on flat surfaces made of composites or soft metals
The Standard Abrasives Surface Conditioning RC Disc combines edge durability and flexibility with high initial and extended cut rate to create a great all-around disc pad for deburring, blending, cleaning and finishing of composites or other soft metals.

    Tough Woven Fabric
Standard Abrasives Surface Conditioning Discs provide a more compact structure of non-woven fibers than Buff & Blend products. Our RC disc has a woven fabric (scrim) embedded in the nylon structure to provide additional strength and durability. This helps extend the life of the disc and allows for extended use on ferrous materials where final finishing is important. This material is great for general use, delivering a solid mix of durability, flexibility, and cut rate.

    Mixed Materials
Our Standard Abrasives Surface Conditioning RC Discs are made of a tough, but flexible nylon mesh that fits any contoured surface. This mesh is also laced with aluminum oxide abrasive. Aluminum oxide discs are a good match for operators who desire an all-purpose versatility and economy. The mineral cuts fast while blending and deburring and should be used for applications on ferrous metals and composites. Aluminum oxide discs feature a premium grain with higher fracture strength, meaning the mineral will fragment and renew more readily. They are available in grades ranging from Very Fine to Coarse.

    Strong Backing for Better Performance
For the best results, it is recommended that a Standard Abrasives brand holder pad is used. Tests have shown that surface conditioning discs, when used in conjunction with the Standard Abrasives holder pad, have a greater durability and performance rate. These pads also assure that pressure is applied evenly all the way to the edge of the disc.

    Trusted Standard Abrasives Brand

The Standard Abrasives Surface Conditioning RC Disc, model 845513, offers reliable performance for various surface tasks. This 4-1/2 inch CRS disc is designed to meet professional standards for quality and durability.

Its construction supports blending, coating removal, finishing, and light deburring, making it a versatile choice for many applications. The RC disc format ensures consistent results across different materials.

    Durable RC Disc Format

This product comes in a 10/Pac format, with 100 discs per case, providing ample supply for extended projects. The RC disc backing enhances edge durability and flexibility, which helps maintain performance over time.

The hook and loop attachment system allows for quick changes and secure fitting, improving workflow efficiency. This format is especially useful for operators who need both convenience and reliability.

    Optimal 4-1/2 Inch Size

The 4-1/2 inch diameter of this CRS disc is ideal for handling a variety of surface conditioning tasks. This size balances control and coverage, making it suitable for both flat and contoured surfaces.

Its dimensions support efficient work on composites and soft metals, where precision and flexibility are important. The size also fits standard power tools, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.

    Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Benefits

Featuring aluminum oxide on RC material, this disc provides a strong initial cut rate and maintains it over extended use. This abrasive choice is excellent for general use and average pressure applications.

The mineral's premium grain structure renews quickly, offering fast cutting while blending and deburring. This makes it a cost-effective option for operators working on ferrous metals and composites.

    Large Pack Count Advantage

With 100 discs per case, this product ensures a steady supply for ongoing projects without frequent reordering. The 10/Pac packaging supports organized storage and easy inventory management.

This large pack count is perfect for workshops and industrial settings where consistent availability of surface conditioning discs is critical. It helps reduce downtime and keeps work moving smoothly.
