Product Description
- AVAILABLE IN A RANGE OF GRADES: Choose from Super Fine (SFN), Very Fine (VFN), Medium (MED), and Coarse (CRS) to fit your application needs
- CHOOSE YOUR MINERAL: Discs are available either powered by super-sharp silicon carbide (SiC) that excels in low-pressure and fine finishing applications or made from harder and more durable aluminum oxide (A/O)
- CONFORMABLE NONWOVEN WEB: Springy nonwoven fibers resist loading, conform to irregular or contoured surfaces, and minimize undercutting and gouging
- GREAT FOR LOW-TO-MEDIUM PRESSURE: Built for consistency in blending, cleaning, deburring, finishing, grinding, polishing, radiusing, refining, and surface preparation, depending on the chosen grade
- QUICK AND EASY ATTACHMENT: Convenient 3M Roloc Attachment System allows for fast disc changes
- WORKS ON A RANGE OF METALS: This multipurpose option is great for use on aluminum, mild steel, nickel alloy, stainless steel, and titanium
The open-web fiber runs cool and resists loading while the aluminum oxide abrasives provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. Our 3M Roloc attachment system offers quick and easy disc change-out, making the Roloc Surface Conditioning Disc ideal for a range of tasks including blending, deburring, and finishing.
We use aluminum oxide abrasive in Scotch-Brite Roloc Surface Conditioning Discs. Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Due to its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention, aluminum oxide mineral is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing use. Aluminum oxide is suitable on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
We developed Scotch-Brite surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. Combining abrasives with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool, reducing the risk of part discoloration and warping. The fibers are load resistant and keep the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers, which also extends the life of the disc.
3M Roloc TR quick change discs are smaller discs that have a plastic threaded button or screw designed to easily and quickly screw onto a Roloc TR disc pad (sold separately) so that you can conveniently change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on motion. The Roloc TR system provides a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications, and the variety of available 3M Roloc discs allows swapping from one application to the next in seconds.
Trusted Brand And Model

Multiple Grade Options
This product comes in A/O Medium grade, providing a balanced cut rate and finish quality. The range includes Super Fine, Very Fine, Medium, and Coarse grades to suit different applications.
Choosing the right grade helps optimize surface conditioning tasks like blending and deburring. The Medium grade is ideal for general-purpose finishing on metals and other materials.
Efficient Attachment System
The 3M Roloc Attachment System enables quick and easy disc changes, saving time during work. This system securely holds the disc in place for reliable performance under pressure.
With a simple twist-on, twist-off motion, users can switch discs rapidly. The 3-inch disc size fits standard Roloc pads, making it versatile for many surface conditioning jobs.
Disc Size And Format
The disc measures 3 inches in diameter, a common size for detailed surface work. This size balances reach and control, suitable for various metalworking and finishing tasks.
Packaged as 25 discs per carton and 100 discs per case, it supports both small and large-scale projects. The format ensures you have enough discs on hand for continuous work.
Durable Pack Quantity
Each case contains 100 discs, organized in cartons of 25, providing ample supply for ongoing jobs. This pack size is convenient for workshops and industrial settings.
Having a large quantity reduces downtime caused by frequent reordering. The pack count supports efficient inventory management and project planning.
