Scotch-Brite Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel is a new wheel designed to make a variety of metalworking applications easier and more efficient for industrial professionals. Typically, abrasives excel in one area: deburring, finishing or blending. This multi-purpose wheel is unique, because it’s engineered to do all three.

The Benefits of 3M Ceramic Precision-Shaped Grain and Scotch Brite Web
Scotch-Brite Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel has all the benefits operators have come to expect from our Scotch-Brite abrasives, including load resistance and responsive open web. What sets this wheel apart from other Scotch Brite abrasives is 3M Precision-Shaped Grain. The proprietary mineral – interwoven throughout the abrasive – is engineered for hardness and strength. The sharp-cutting mineral is counteracted by soft, buoyant nylon fibers that respond to surface irregularities and contours. Gaps between fibers allow debris to escape and help minimize loading. Together, the web and mineral combine to aggressively tackle the substrate without sacrificing predictable results.

    Ideal for Robotic Deburring
With a wide range of conformability options and high consistency, long-lasting Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are a great option for robotic deburring. Scotch-Brite Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel quickly removes burrs and sharp edges in end-of-arm tooling operations, delivering consistent performance through the full life of the abrasive.

The Difference Is in the Construction
Unitized wheels differ from convolute wheels, because they feature a layered construction as opposed to being wound around a core: the open web is cured and compressed for added strength and durability. The unique production method makes unitized wheels a good match for edges and contours.

Moreover, the wheels may be run clockwise or counter-clockwise. We recommend using this wheel with the 3M Die Grinder (sold separately). For projects that require an extended wheel, 3M Extended Die Grinder (sold separately), and the 936 unitized mandrel (sold separately) are good accessories to have on hand.

Scotch Brite Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheels are ideal for maintenance operations. These hard-working, high-performance products last through dirt, corrosion and other contaminants while reducing the chance of changing part geometry — helping you get the job done faster.

    Scotch-Brite Deburr & Finish

The Scotch-Brite Deburr & Finish Pro Unitized Wheel, model DP-UW, offers a versatile solution for metalworking tasks. This product is designed to blend, deburr, and finish surfaces efficiently, making it a reliable choice for professionals.

Its unitized wheel format ensures durability and strength, while the 3M Precision-Shaped Grain technology enhances performance. The wheel is suitable for various applications, providing consistent results across different materials.

    Medium+ Grade Options

This product comes in a 6C Medium+ grade, ideal for blending and deburring tasks. The medium+ grade balances aggressiveness and finish quality, allowing for effective burr removal without damaging the workpiece.

Other grades in the series include 2S FIN for polishing, 4C MED+ for finishing, and 8C CRS+ for heavier deburring. The 6C Medium+ grade specifically targets a wide range of industrial needs.

    Precise Dimensions Included

The wheel measures 3 inches in diameter, 1/2 inch in thickness, and has a 1/4 inch center hole. These dimensions make it compatible with many standard die grinders and tools, ensuring easy integration into existing workflows.

Its size supports detailed work on components like threaded pipes and turbine blades, providing the right balance between reach and control for various metalworking projects.

    Unitized Wheel Format

The unitized wheel construction differs from convolute wheels by featuring a layered, compressed open web. This design adds strength and durability, making the wheel suitable for edges and contours.

Additionally, the wheel can be run clockwise or counter-clockwise, enhancing flexibility. It pairs well with 3M die grinders and accessories, supporting extended use and maintenance tasks.

    Case Pack Quantity

This product is sold in cases containing 20 wheels, providing ample supply for ongoing projects. The pack size supports industrial-scale operations, reducing the need for frequent reordering.

Having 20 wheels per case ensures consistent availability for maintenance and production, helping teams maintain efficiency and minimize downtime during metalworking tasks.
