  • Product Description
    • Durable, aggressive wheel for tough blending, finishing, and deburring on harder metals like stainless steel, carbon steel, high nickel alloys
    • Flexible, non-woven construction provides controlled abrasive action that helps prevent undercutting or gouging
    • High concentration of abrasive mineral is fast cutting and consistently produces a bright finish throughout the life of the wheel
    • Scotch-Brite material resists loading and wears at a uniform rate to provide continuous cutting action
    • Tightly layered, unitized construction can operate in clockwise or counterclockwise directions
Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel is a tightly layered, durable, unitized wheel available in medium to hard densities. The wheel works well for aggressive deburring, blending, and finishing on harder metals and for applications where portability is needed. This wheel provides an excellent starting point for jobs requiring the availability of small diameters and narrow widths.

Use our Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel to replace many conventional abrasive products such as rubber bonded wheels and small set-up wheels. The aluminum oxide mineral combined with a tough nylon web is ideally suited for producing uniform results. The tightly layered unitized construction and aggressive properties produce a smooth running, fast cutting wheel that runs cool and resists loading.

The Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel is filled with aluminum oxide abrasive mineral. We chose aluminum oxide because it is a popular choice among industrial professionals due to its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention all combine to make aluminum oxide mineral a good choice in grinding applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. Combining abrasives with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers.

    Scotch-Brite CP-UW Model

The Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel, model CP-UW, is designed for tough blending and finishing tasks. This durable wheel is perfect for working on harder metals like stainless steel and high nickel alloys, ensuring reliable performance.

Its unitized construction offers consistent results and can replace many conventional abrasive products. The CP-UW model is a trusted choice for professionals needing a dependable wheel for aggressive deburring and polishing.

    Medium Grade Abrasive Quality

This wheel features a 7A Medium grade, providing a balanced abrasive action that is aggressive yet controlled. The medium grade helps prevent undercutting or gouging, making it suitable for precise finishing work.

The high concentration of abrasive mineral ensures fast cutting and a bright finish throughout the wheel’s life. This grade is ideal for applications requiring both efficiency and quality surface conditioning.

    Compact Size Dimensions

Measuring 3 inches by 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch, this wheel offers a compact size that fits well in tight or detailed work areas. Its small diameter and narrow width make it highly portable and easy to handle.

The size is perfect for jobs requiring precision and accessibility, allowing users to work effectively on small or intricate metal parts without sacrificing performance.

    Unitized Wheel Format

The tightly layered, unitized wheel format allows operation in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. This flexibility enhances usability across different tools and setups.

Its non-woven construction resists loading and wears evenly, providing continuous cutting action. This format supports smooth running and cool operation, extending the wheel’s effective life.

    Case Pack Quantity

Each case contains 20 wheels, making it convenient for bulk purchasing and ensuring you have enough supply for ongoing projects. This pack size supports consistent workflow without frequent reordering.

Having 20 pieces per case is ideal for industrial or professional settings where multiple wheels are needed for various tasks. It also offers good value for teams or workshops.
