  • Product Description
    • Durable, aggressive wheel for tough blending, finishing, and deburring on harder metals like stainless steel, carbon steel, high nickel alloys
    • Flexible, non-woven construction provides controlled abrasive action that helps prevent undercutting or gouging
    • High concentration of abrasive mineral is fast cutting and consistently produces a bright finish throughout the life of the wheel
    • Scotch-Brite material resists loading and wears at a uniform rate to provide continuous cutting action
    • Tightly layered, unitized construction can operate in clockwise or counterclockwise directions
Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel is a tightly layered, durable, unitized wheel available in medium to hard densities. The wheel works well for aggressive deburring, blending, and finishing on harder metals and for applications where portability is needed. This wheel provides an excellent starting point for jobs requiring the availability of small diameters and narrow widths.

Use our Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel to replace many conventional abrasive products such as rubber bonded wheels and small set-up wheels. The aluminum oxide mineral combined with a tough nylon web is ideally suited for producing uniform results. The tightly layered unitized construction and aggressive properties produce a smooth running, fast cutting wheel that runs cool and resists loading.

The Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel is filled with aluminum oxide abrasive mineral. We chose aluminum oxide because it is a popular choice among industrial professionals due to its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention all combine to make aluminum oxide mineral a good choice in grinding applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. Combining abrasives with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers.

    Scotch-Brite CP-UW Model

The Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel, model CP-UW, is designed for tough blending and finishing tasks. This durable wheel is perfect for working on harder metals like stainless steel and high nickel alloys, ensuring reliable performance.

Its unitized construction offers consistent results and aggressive action, making it a great choice for professionals needing a dependable wheel. The CP-UW model stands out for its balance of durability and precision in metalworking.

    Medium Grade Abrasive Quality

This wheel features a 7A Medium grade, providing a controlled abrasive action that prevents gouging or undercutting. The medium grade is ideal for blending and finishing without damaging the workpiece.

With a high concentration of abrasive mineral, the wheel cuts fast and maintains a bright finish throughout its life. This grade suits applications requiring both efficiency and a smooth surface.

    Precise Dimensions For Use

The wheel measures 1 inch by 1/2 inch by 3/16 inch, offering a compact size for detailed work. These dimensions make it suitable for jobs needing small diameters and narrow widths, enhancing portability and access.

Its size allows for easy replacement of conventional abrasive wheels, fitting well in setups where space and precision matter. The compact format supports versatile use across various metalworking tasks.

    Unitized Wheel Format Benefits

The tightly layered, unitized wheel format allows operation in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. This flexibility helps users adapt to different tool setups and work requirements.

Its non-woven, flexible construction resists loading and wears uniformly, providing continuous cutting action. This format ensures smooth running and cool operation during use.

    Bulk Pack Size Advantage

Available in a pack of 50 wheels per case, this product offers excellent value for frequent users. The bulk quantity supports ongoing projects without frequent reordering.

Having 50 units on hand ensures readiness for multiple jobs, reducing downtime. This pack size is ideal for industrial or workshop environments where consistent supply is important.
