  • Product Description
    • Durable, aggressive wheel for tough blending, finishing, and deburring on harder metals like stainless steel, carbon steel, high nickel alloys
    • Flexible, non-woven construction provides controlled abrasive action that helps prevent undercutting or gouging
    • High concentration of abrasive mineral is fast cutting and consistently produces a bright finish throughout the life of the wheel
    • Scotch-Brite material resists loading and wears at a uniform rate to provide continuous cutting action
    • Tightly layered, unitized construction can operate in clockwise or counterclockwise directions
Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel is a tightly layered, durable, unitized wheel available in medium to hard densities. The wheel works well for aggressive deburring, blending, and finishing on harder metals and for applications where portability is needed. This wheel provides an excellent starting point for jobs requiring the availability of small diameters and narrow widths.

Use our Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel to replace many conventional abrasive products such as rubber bonded wheels and small set-up wheels. The aluminum oxide mineral combined with a tough nylon web is ideally suited for producing uniform results. The tightly layered unitized construction and aggressive properties produce a smooth running, fast cutting wheel that runs cool and resists loading.

The Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel is filled with aluminum oxide abrasive mineral. We chose aluminum oxide because it is a popular choice among industrial professionals due to its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention all combine to make aluminum oxide mineral a good choice in grinding applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. Combining abrasives with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers.

    Scotch-Brite CP-UW Model

The Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel, model CP-UW, is designed for tough blending and finishing tasks. This durable wheel is perfect for working on harder metals like stainless steel and high nickel alloys, ensuring reliable performance.

Its unitized construction offers a tightly layered design that supports both clockwise and counterclockwise operation. This flexibility makes the CP-UW model a versatile choice for various industrial applications.

    Fine Grade Abrasive Quality

This wheel features a 5A Fine grade, providing a controlled abrasive action that prevents undercutting or gouging. The fine grade ensures a smooth finish, making it ideal for precision polishing and deburring.

The high concentration of abrasive mineral cuts fast and maintains a bright finish throughout the wheel's life. This consistent performance helps maintain quality results on every use.

    Compact Size Dimensions

Measuring 3 inches by 1/4 inch by 3/8 inch, this unitized wheel fits well in tight spaces and small setups. Its compact size makes it suitable for detailed work where larger wheels might be cumbersome.

The narrow width and small diameter provide excellent control, allowing users to tackle intricate blending and finishing tasks with ease and precision.

    Unitized Wheel Format

The unitized wheel format combines abrasives with a tough nylon web, creating a flexible, non-woven construction. This design resists loading and wears evenly, ensuring continuous cutting action throughout use.

Its open-web material runs cool and limits clogging, which helps maintain high performance. This format replaces many conventional abrasive products like rubber bonded wheels effectively.

    Case Pack Quantity

This product comes in a pack of 40 wheels per case, providing ample supply for ongoing projects. Having a large pack count ensures you have enough wheels on hand for multiple jobs without frequent reordering.

The 40 ea/Case packaging supports efficient inventory management and is ideal for industrial settings where consistent availability is important.
