Our discs feature a mineral blend of aluminum oxide and 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain, a very tough synthetic mineral engineered to fracture frequently for a super fast cut. The combination of the ceramic/aluminum oxide mineral blend and heavy paper backing make this a top choice for aggressive sanding applications such as paint stripping or stock removal. This product can be used on both rotary and random orbital tools, for applications in metalworking and woodworking.
3M Stikit discs are high-quality, coated abrasive products with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside to allow easy application and removal. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a rotary disc sander or random orbital sander. Stikit disc rolls make it easy to tear off a single disc, and save you time and money by eliminating a liner.
Our 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed using a 3M proprietary process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 763U products feature aluminum oxide blended with 3M ceramic grain for a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal as well as finishing, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability and makes an excellent choice for difficult grinding applications.
Trusted 3M Stikit Model
The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 763U offers reliable performance with the trusted 3M brand backing it. This model features the Stikit adhesive backing, making disc application and removal quick and hassle-free.
Designed for ease of use, the Stikit adhesive allows discs to stick firmly to a backup pad yet peel off cleanly. This feature helps save time during sanding tasks and keeps your workflow smooth.
Durable Heavy F-weight Backing
This product includes heavy F-weight paper backing, which supports heavy-duty sanding jobs and resists tearing. The backing ensures the discs hold up well under tough conditions without falling apart.
With this sturdy backing, the 8 in x NH discs maintain their shape and strength during aggressive sanding, making them suitable for demanding woodworking and metal finishing tasks.
Effective Ceramic Aluminum Oxide
The 80 F-weight discs use a ceramic aluminum oxide blend that self-sharpens quickly and lasts longer. This mineral combination provides a fast cut rate and exceptional durability for various sanding applications.
Because of this blend, the discs excel in paint prep and stock removal, handling heat and stress better than standard abrasives. This makes them ideal for both rotary and random orbital tools.
Convenient Disc Roll Format
These discs come in a roll format, with 50 discs per roll and 4 rolls per case. This setup offers convenience and cost savings compared to buying individual discs, reducing waste and liner disposal.
The roll format allows easy tearing of single discs, speeding up your sanding process. It’s perfect for users who need a steady supply of 8 in x NH discs without frequent reordering.
Versatile Size And Pack
The discs measure 8 inches in diameter with a NH (non-hole) design, fitting many standard sanding pads. The pack includes 4 rolls, each with 50 discs, providing a total of 200 discs for extended use.
This size and pack count make the product suitable for professionals and hobbyists alike, ensuring you have enough discs for large projects or ongoing maintenance tasks.
