3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers heavy duty paper discs capable of medium stock removal and consistent finishing on both wood and metal, with convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. Standard and dust-free versions are available.

Our 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I discs consist of tough aluminum oxide abrasive particles in a range of grit values bonded with resin on a heavy F-weight paper backing. They are well suited for stock removal and metal finishing, as well as random orbital sanding on both hardwoods and softwoods. The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I disc resists wear during aggressive sanding, and its open-coat construction helps prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I features an open coat that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. In an open coat construction the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust and debris have an outlet rather than loading the disc. Additionally, the open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. These discs are typically used in woodworking and paint prep applications where loading is a problem.

    3M Stikit Model Benefits

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I features a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that allows for quick application and easy removal. This model is designed for use with a Stikit backup pad, making it simple to attach and replace discs during sanding tasks.

Its adhesive backing eliminates the need to remove liners from individual discs, speeding up your workflow. The 363I model is ideal for professionals who want reliable performance combined with convenience in disc handling.

    Heavy F-Weight Backing Strength

These discs use a heavy F-weight paper backing that provides the durability needed for both stock removal and finishing. This backing supports the aluminum oxide abrasive, ensuring the disc holds up under tough sanding conditions.

The sturdy backing is well suited for medium stock removal on wood and metal surfaces. It helps maintain disc integrity during aggressive sanding, making the 8 in x NH size effective for various applications.

    Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Quality

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I uses aluminum oxide abrasive particles, known for their fast cut rate and long life. This mineral self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, keeping the disc sharp during use.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice for grinding and finishing on hardwoods, softwoods, and ferrous alloys. It offers versatility across woodworking and metalworking tasks, making these discs a dependable option.

    Open Coat Clogging Prevention

Featuring an open coat design, these discs prevent clogging by spacing abrasive grains apart. This allows dust and debris to escape, maximizing cutting efficiency and extending the disc’s useful life.

This open coat construction provides a more aggressive cut than closed coat abrasives of the same grade. It’s especially useful for sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials prone to loading the disc surface.

    Pack Size Convenience Features

The product comes as 50 discs per roll with 4 rolls per case, offering a total of 200 discs ready for use. This pack size supports continuous work without frequent reordering or downtime.

Each disc measures 8 in x NH and is die 800L, fitting standard Stikit backup pads. The roll format simplifies storage and handling, making it easy to keep discs organized and accessible on the job.
