3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers heavy duty paper discs capable of medium stock removal and consistent finishing on both wood and metal, with convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. Standard and dust-free versions are available.

Our 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I discs consist of tough aluminum oxide abrasive particles in a range of grit values bonded with resin on a heavy F-weight paper backing. They are well suited for stock removal and metal finishing, as well as random orbital sanding on both hardwoods and softwoods. The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I disc resists wear during aggressive sanding, and its open-coat construction helps prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I features an open coat that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. In an open coat construction the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust and debris have an outlet rather than loading the disc. Additionally, the open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. These discs are typically used in woodworking and paint prep applications where loading is a problem.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I is designed with the trusted 3M Stikit adhesive backing. This feature allows for quick application and easy removal, making your sanding process more efficient. The adhesive backing ensures the discs stick firmly to the backup pad during use.

These discs are compatible with Stikit backup pads (sold separately), which helps streamline your sanding tasks. The model 363I offers a reliable solution for both wood and metal sanding projects, meeting professional standards.

    Durable F-Weight Backing

Each disc in the roll features a heavy F-weight paper backing that adds durability and strength. This backing supports medium stock removal and consistent finishing, making it suitable for demanding sanding jobs. The F-weight paper helps the discs withstand wear and tear during use.

The 8 inch x NH P150 F-weight discs provide a balance of flexibility and toughness. This backing type is ideal for both stock removal and finishing tasks on various materials, ensuring long-lasting performance throughout your projects.

    Convenient Roll Format

The product comes as a roll containing 50 discs, with 4 rolls per case. This roll format eliminates the hassle of removing liners from individual discs, saving time and effort. It’s a practical choice for users who need a steady supply of sanding discs.

Having 4 rolls per case means you get a total of 200 discs ready for use. This pack size is perfect for workshops or job sites where frequent disc changes are necessary, ensuring you won’t run out during critical sanding tasks.

    Open Coat Abrasive Design

The discs feature an open coating that prevents clogging by spacing abrasive grains apart. This design maximizes cutting efficiency and extends the life of the abrasive, especially when sanding softwoods, paints, or other clog-prone materials. It keeps the disc cutting cleanly for longer periods.

Open coat construction also provides a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. This makes the 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I ideal for woodworking and paint preparation where loading can be a problem.

    Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Quality

The discs use aluminum oxide abrasive on the P150 grade, known for its fast cut rate and long life. This mineral is tough and self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, maintaining sanding performance over time. It’s suitable for a wide range of materials, including ferrous alloys.

With resin bond heat resistance, the discs last longer under aggressive sanding conditions. The combination of aluminum oxide and resin bond ensures durability and consistent finishing on both wood and metal surfaces.
