3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers heavy duty paper discs capable of medium stock removal and consistent finishing on both wood and metal, with convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. Standard and dust-free versions are available.

Our 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I discs consist of tough aluminum oxide abrasive particles in a range of grit values bonded with resin on a heavy F-weight paper backing. They are well suited for stock removal and metal finishing, as well as random orbital sanding on both hardwoods and softwoods. The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I disc resists wear during aggressive sanding, and its open-coat construction helps prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I features an open coat that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. In an open coat construction the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust and debris have an outlet rather than loading the disc. Additionally, the open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. These discs are typically used in woodworking and paint prep applications where loading is a problem.

    Reliable 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers a trusted brand and model known for quality sanding solutions. This product features the 3M Stikit adhesive backing, which allows for quick application and easy removal, saving time during sanding tasks.

Designed for professionals, the 363I model is compatible with Stikit backup pads (sold separately), ensuring a secure fit and efficient sanding performance. Its adhesive backing eliminates the need for disc liners, simplifying the sanding process.

    Durable F-weight Backing

These discs use a heavy F-weight paper backing that provides the durability needed for both stock removal and finishing. This backing supports the aluminum oxide abrasive, making the discs tough enough for demanding sanding jobs.

The 8 in x NH P120 F-weight size ensures compatibility with common sanding tools, offering a balance between strength and flexibility. This backing helps maintain disc integrity during aggressive sanding on wood and metal surfaces.

    Convenient Disc Roll Format

The product comes in a roll format with 50 discs per roll and 4 rolls per case, making it easy to store and use as needed. This format eliminates the hassle of removing liners from individual discs, speeding up the workflow.

Having multiple rolls in one case ensures a steady supply for larger projects or frequent use. The roll design also helps keep discs organized and protected until they're ready to be applied.

    Open Coating Prevents Clogging

The open coat design spaces abrasive grains apart to prevent clogging, which maximizes cutting efficiency and extends disc life. This feature is especially useful when sanding softwoods, paints, or other clog-prone materials.

This coating allows dust and debris to escape, maintaining consistent sanding performance. It also provides a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade, improving productivity.

    Heat-Resistant Resin Bond

The resin bond used in these discs resists heat buildup, which prolongs the life of the abrasive. This is important during extended sanding sessions where friction can cause discs to wear out quickly.

Combined with the aluminum oxide abrasive, known for its fast cut-rate and durability, the resin bond ensures the discs perform well on both wood and metal. This combination supports medium stock removal and consistent finishing.
