3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers heavy duty paper discs capable of medium stock removal and consistent finishing on both wood and metal, with convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. Standard and dust-free versions are available.

Our 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I discs consist of tough aluminum oxide abrasive particles in a range of grit values bonded with resin on a heavy F-weight paper backing. They are well suited for stock removal and metal finishing, as well as random orbital sanding on both hardwoods and softwoods. The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I disc resists wear during aggressive sanding, and its open-coat construction helps prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I features an open coat that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. In an open coat construction the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust and debris have an outlet rather than loading the disc. Additionally, the open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. These discs are typically used in woodworking and paint prep applications where loading is a problem.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers reliable performance with its well-known brand and model. This product features the 3M Stikit adhesive backing, which allows for quick application and easy removal, saving time during sanding tasks.

Designed for professionals, the 363I model is ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that sticks firmly to a Stikit backup pad. This eliminates the hassle of dealing with disc liners, making your workflow smoother.

    Heavy F-Weight Backing

These discs use a heavy F-weight paper backing that provides the durability needed for both stock removal and finishing. This backing supports the aluminum oxide abrasive to withstand aggressive sanding without tearing.

The sturdy backing is ideal for various applications, including woodworking and metal finishing, ensuring the discs hold up well during medium stock removal and consistent finishing tasks.

    Optimal 8 Inch Size

Measuring 8 inches by NH, these discs fit standard sanding equipment sizes, making them versatile for many sanding projects. The size ensures good coverage and efficient sanding on larger surfaces.

The 8-inch diameter works well with random orbital sanders and stationary disc sanders when paired with a compatible Stikit backup pad, enhancing sanding control and effectiveness.

    Convenient Disc Roll Format

The product comes in a roll format with 50 discs per roll, and 4 rolls per case, providing a large supply for extended use. This format eliminates the need to peel liners from individual discs, speeding up disc changes.

Having multiple rolls in a case ensures you have enough discs on hand for continuous work, reducing downtime and keeping your sanding projects moving efficiently.

    Durable Grade F-Weight

The 60 F-weight grade offers a balance between durability and cutting ability, suitable for medium stock removal. This grade uses aluminum oxide abrasive, known for its fast cut-rate and long life.

Its open coat design prevents clogging, allowing the disc to maintain cutting performance on softwoods, paints, and other materials that typically cause loading, extending the disc’s useful life.
