3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I offers heavy duty paper discs capable of medium stock removal and consistent finishing on both wood and metal, with convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. Standard and dust-free versions are available.

Our 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I discs consist of tough aluminum oxide abrasive particles in a range of grit values bonded with resin on a heavy F-weight paper backing. They are well suited for stock removal and metal finishing, as well as random orbital sanding on both hardwoods and softwoods. The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I disc resists wear during aggressive sanding, and its open-coat construction helps prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I features an open coat that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. In an open coat construction the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust and debris have an outlet rather than loading the disc. Additionally, the open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. These discs are typically used in woodworking and paint prep applications where loading is a problem.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I is designed for professionals who need reliable sanding discs. This model features the trusted 3M Stikit adhesive backing, allowing quick application and easy removal, which saves time during projects.

These discs come in a roll format, making it simple to dispense the exact number needed without handling individual liners. The 363I model is well-suited for both wood and metal surfaces, providing versatility in various sanding tasks.

    Heavy F-weight Backing

Each disc is built on a heavy F-weight paper backing, offering durability for demanding sanding jobs. This backing supports both stock removal and finishing, ensuring the discs hold up under pressure and maintain consistent performance.

The 5 inch size fits standard Stikit backup pads, making it compatible with many disc sanders. This size is practical for detailed work and larger surface areas alike, enhancing the disc’s usability across different applications.

    Aluminum Oxide Abrasive

These discs use aluminum oxide abrasive, known for its fast cut rate and long life. This mineral self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, which keeps the sanding effective over extended use.

Aluminum oxide is ideal for sanding both hardwoods and softwoods, as well as ferrous metals. This makes the 363I discs a versatile choice for woodworking and metalworking professionals needing consistent results.

    Open Coat Design Benefits

The open coat construction prevents clogging by spacing abrasive grains apart, allowing dust and debris to escape. This design helps maintain cutting efficiency and extends the life of the disc during sanding.

This feature is especially useful when sanding softwoods, paints, or other materials prone to loading. The open coat also provides a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade.

    Convenient Roll Format

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 363I comes with 100 discs per roll and 4 rolls per case, providing a large supply for ongoing projects. The roll format eliminates the need to remove liners from individual discs, speeding up the sanding process.

This packaging is ideal for busy workshops or job sites where efficiency matters. The discs are ready to use with Stikit backup pads, making them a practical choice for professionals who value convenience and quality.
