3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U offers a versatile disc with a convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a 3M Stikit backup pad (sold separately). The roll offers quick access to a disc and eliminates disc liners. The disc features a strong, C-weight paper backing that resists wear during aggressive sanding.

The open-coat construction and load-resistant coating help prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc. 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U can be used for sanding and finishing on many different surfaces, such as paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. The Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with our 3M Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

3M Stikit Paper Discs feature a load-resistant coating that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. An open coat means the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust can escape rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains, thereby optimizing cut-rate and disc life.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U is designed for professionals who need reliable sanding discs. This model features the trusted 3M brand known for quality abrasives, ensuring consistent performance on various surfaces.

With the 236U model, you get a product that combines durability and ease of use. Its adhesive backing allows quick application and clean removal, making your sanding tasks more efficient.

    Strong C-weight Backing

This product uses a strong, C-weight paper backing that stands up to aggressive sanding. Compared to lighter paper backings, it offers extra durability, helping the discs last longer during tough jobs.

The sturdy backing supports the aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, ensuring the discs maintain their shape and effectiveness. This makes the 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U suitable for a wide range of sanding and finishing tasks.

    Convenient Disc Roll Format

The discs come in a roll format, measuring 6 inches by NH, which eliminates the hassle of removing liners from individual discs. This format speeds up your workflow by providing quick access to each disc.

Each roll contains 100 discs, and the case includes 4 rolls, giving you a total of 400 discs. This pack size is ideal for extended projects or frequent use, reducing downtime for restocking.

    Durable Aluminum Oxide Mineral

These discs feature aluminum oxide mineral, known for its fast cutting ability and durability. This abrasive mineral performs well on many surfaces, including paint, primer, wood, metal, and composites.

Aluminum oxide self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, which helps maintain a fast cut rate and extends the life of each disc. This makes it a popular choice for both woodworking and metalworking applications.

    Load-Resistant Coating Benefits

The discs include a load-resistant coating that prevents premature clogging during sanding. This feature maximizes cutting efficiency and extends the abrasive life, especially when working with softwoods and paints.

The open-coat construction spaces abrasive grains to allow dust to escape, reducing loading on the disc surface. This design helps maintain consistent sanding performance throughout the disc’s use.
