3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U offers a versatile disc with a convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a 3M Stikit backup pad (sold separately). The roll offers quick access to a disc and eliminates disc liners. The disc features a strong, C-weight paper backing that resists wear during aggressive sanding.

The open-coat construction and load-resistant coating help prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc. 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U can be used for sanding and finishing on many different surfaces, such as paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. The Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with our 3M Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

3M Stikit Paper Discs feature a load-resistant coating that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. An open coat means the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust can escape rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains, thereby optimizing cut-rate and disc life.

    3M Stikit Model Features

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U offers a reliable sanding solution with its adhesive backing for quick application and removal. This model is designed to work seamlessly with 3M Stikit backup pads, making it easy to attach and remove discs during use.

Its design supports efficient sanding tasks, especially when paired with compatible disc sanders. The 236U model ensures a smooth workflow by eliminating the hassle of individual disc liners.

    Durable Grade P80 C-weight

This product features a P80 grade abrasive, ideal for medium sanding tasks. The strong C-weight paper backing enhances durability compared to lighter papers, allowing for aggressive sanding without tearing.

Users can expect consistent performance on various surfaces, thanks to the sturdy backing that supports the abrasive grains during extended use.

    Five Inch Disc Size

The discs measure 5 inches in diameter, a common size that fits many standard sanding tools. This size balances surface coverage and control, making it suitable for both broad and detailed sanding jobs.

With a 5-inch disc, users can efficiently sand surfaces like wood, metal, and composites, benefiting from the disc’s versatility and ease of handling.

    NH 5 Hole Format

The NH 5 Hole format allows for effective dust extraction during sanding, reducing clogging and extending disc life. This hole pattern is compatible with many dust collection systems on random orbital sanders.

By minimizing dust buildup, the discs maintain cutting efficiency and provide a cleaner working environment, which is especially important for finishing tasks.

    Pack Count Convenience

This product comes as 100 discs per roll, with 4 rolls per case, offering a total of 400 discs. Such a pack size ensures users have ample supply for large projects or extended use without frequent reordering.

The roll format simplifies storage and dispensing, making it easier to access discs quickly while maintaining organization in the workspace.
