  • Product Description
    • Adhesive backing allows for quick application and easy removal
    • Aluminum oxide mineral is durable, cuts fast, and performs well on many surfaces
    • Convenient disc rolls eliminate the need to remove disc liners from individual discs
    • Load-resistant coating helps prevent premature loading of the disc surface to maximize cut and extend the life of the abrasive grains
    • Strong, C-weight paper backing provides extra durability when compared to lighter weight paper backings
3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U offers a versatile disc with a convenient adhesive backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a 3M Stikit backup pad (sold separately). The roll offers quick access to a disc and eliminates disc liners. The disc features a strong, C-weight paper backing that resists wear during aggressive sanding.

The open-coat construction and load-resistant coating help prevent clogging to maximize cut and the useful life of the disc. 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U can be used for sanding and finishing on many different surfaces, such as paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass.

Our 3M Stikit discs are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. The Stikit disc should be used in conjunction with our 3M Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

3M Stikit Paper Discs feature a load-resistant coating that allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the surface of the disc and hinder sanding ability. An open coat means the abrasive grains are spaced slightly apart so that dust can escape rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains, thereby optimizing cut-rate and disc life.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 236U offers reliable performance with its well-known brand and model. This product is designed for professionals who need consistent results with a trusted abrasive system.

Featuring the 236U model, it fits perfectly with 3M Stikit backup pads, ensuring compatibility and ease of use. This adhesive-backed disc roll simplifies sanding tasks by providing quick application and removal.

    Precise Five Inch Size

Each disc measures 5 inches in diameter, making it suitable for a variety of sanding tools. The 5 in x NH 5 Hole design ensures proper dust extraction and efficient sanding performance.

This size works well on different surfaces, including wood, metal, and composites. The hole pattern matches standard 3M Stikit backup pads, enhancing dust control during use.

    Durable P100 C-Weight

The P100 grade offers a fine abrasive level ideal for finishing and smoothing surfaces. Backed by strong C-weight paper, these discs resist wear better than lighter papers, extending their lifespan.

This durability means fewer disc changes and more consistent sanding results. The C-weight backing supports aggressive sanding without tearing, making it a practical choice for various materials.

    Efficient Adhesive Disc Format

The roll format contains 100 discs per roll, with 4 rolls per case, providing a large supply for ongoing projects. Adhesive backing allows discs to stick quickly to backup pads without liners.

This format reduces waste and speeds up disc changes, improving workflow. The adhesive system also ensures clean removal, leaving the backup pad ready for the next disc.

    Versatile Abrasive Technology

These discs use aluminum oxide mineral, known for fast cutting and durability on many surfaces. The load-resistant coating prevents clogging, maintaining cutting efficiency over time.

Open-coat construction helps dust escape, reducing loading and extending disc life. This makes the discs suitable for sanding paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, and fiberglass.
