3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L are constructed of aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing and work well for fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surface substrates.

Our discs feature a sturdy film backing that provides the durability needed for a high-production environment, and offer excellent resistance to edge tearing to increase the life of the disc over discs with standard A-weight paper backings. At the same time, the film backing provides a close-tolerance, consistent finish, making it a good choice for applications such as spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, or sanding automotive primer.

To help reduce loading on the disc, the disc has open coat construction without a load-resistant stearate coating. The Stikit adhesive on the backing conveniently attaches the disc to a low-profile 3M Stikit Disc Pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander. 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L comes in a range of grades for various applications from fine sanding to finishing.

Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isn’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. An open coat means the abrasive grains have space between them so that sanding debris collects in the spaces rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains. This feature has the added advantage of producing a more aggressive cut.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L offers reliable performance with the trusted 3M brand and Stikit adhesive backing. This system allows quick application and easy removal, making your sanding tasks more efficient.

Designed for use with a Stikit backup pad, the 360L model ensures a secure fit on your sander. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive means you can swap discs quickly without mess or fuss.

    Precise 5 Inch Size

Each disc in this roll measures 5 inches in diameter, providing a perfect size for detailed sanding and finishing work. This size fits many standard random orbital sanders, making it versatile for various projects.

The 5 in x NH dimension ensures compatibility with the Stikit system, allowing smooth attachment and removal. This size is ideal for automotive primer sanding, plastic parts, and spot repairs.

    Durable Film Backing

The durable film backing on these discs resists tearing and delivers a consistent finish. This feature helps maintain close tolerances during sanding, which is crucial for high-quality results.

Unlike paper-backed discs, the film backing extends disc life and withstands tough sanding environments. It’s especially useful when working on polyurethane solid surfaces and gel coats.

    Grade P800 Abrasive Quality

These discs use P800 grade aluminum oxide abrasive, known for fast cutting and long life. This grade is suitable for fine sanding and finishing, providing smooth results on many surfaces.

The aluminum oxide grains self-fracture to expose fresh edges, keeping the cut aggressive and efficient. This makes the P800 grade ideal for woodworking, metalworking, and automotive applications.

    Convenient Roll Format

The product comes as a roll with 125 discs per roll and 4 rolls per case, totaling 500 discs. This format eliminates the need to remove liners from individual discs, saving time and effort.

Having discs in a roll format is perfect for high-production environments where quick access and easy storage matter. It also reduces waste compared to pre-cut disc packs.
