Our discs feature a sturdy film backing that provides the durability needed for a high-production environment, and offer excellent resistance to edge tearing to increase the life of the disc over discs with standard A-weight paper backings. At the same time, the film backing provides a close-tolerance, consistent finish, making it a good choice for applications such as spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, or sanding automotive primer.
To help reduce loading on the disc, the disc has open coat construction without a load-resistant stearate coating. The Stikit adhesive on the backing conveniently attaches the disc to a low-profile 3M Stikit Disc Pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander. 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L comes in a range of grades for various applications from fine sanding to finishing.
Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isn’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. An open coat means the abrasive grains have space between them so that sanding debris collects in the spaces rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains. This feature has the added advantage of producing a more aggressive cut.
We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
Our 3M Stikit system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
Trusted 3M Stikit Model
The 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L offers a reliable sanding solution with its well-known brand and model. This product features the 3M Stikit adhesive backing, which allows for quick application and easy removal, saving time during your sanding tasks.

Precise 5 Inch Size
Each disc measures 5 inches in diameter, providing a versatile size suitable for various sanding projects. This dimension fits well with many standard sanding tools, making it a practical choice for both professionals and hobbyists.
The 5 in x NH format ensures compatibility with the included die-cut 500X discs, allowing for consistent and efficient sanding. This size is ideal for spot repairs, paint feathering, and sanding plastic parts.
Durable Film Backing
The discs feature a durable film backing that is tear-resistant and offers a close-tolerance, consistent finish. This backing outperforms standard A-weight paper backings by providing excellent resistance to edge tearing in high-production environments.
This sturdy film backing supports fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surfaces. It helps maintain disc integrity during demanding tasks, extending the life of each disc in the roll.
Grade P600 Abrasive
The P600 grade aluminum oxide abrasive on these discs delivers a fast cut and long life. This grade is suitable for fine sanding and finishing, making it effective on a wide range of materials including ferrous alloys and automotive primers.
Aluminum oxide is known for self-fracturing to expose fresh cutting edges, which keeps the discs sharp longer. This abrasive choice supports efficient sanding and consistent results across multiple applications.
Convenient 125 Disc Rolls
Each roll contains 125 discs, and the product comes with 4 rolls per case, totaling 500 discs. This pack size offers ample supply for extended projects or multiple jobs without frequent reordering.
The roll format eliminates the need to remove liners from individual discs, speeding up the sanding process. Open coat construction helps reduce loading and provides a more aggressive cut, enhancing overall productivity.
