3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L are constructed of aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing and work well for fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surface substrates.

Our discs feature a sturdy film backing that provides the durability needed for a high-production environment, and offer excellent resistance to edge tearing to increase the life of the disc over discs with standard A-weight paper backings. At the same time, the film backing provides a close-tolerance, consistent finish, making it a good choice for applications such as spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, or sanding automotive primer.

To help reduce loading on the disc, the disc has open coat construction without a load-resistant stearate coating. The Stikit adhesive on the backing conveniently attaches the disc to a low-profile 3M Stikit Disc Pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander. 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L comes in a range of grades for various applications from fine sanding to finishing.

Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isn’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. An open coat means the abrasive grains have space between them so that sanding debris collects in the spaces rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains. This feature has the added advantage of producing a more aggressive cut.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L offers reliable performance with its well-known 3M brand quality. This model features the Stikit adhesive backing, making application quick and removal easy, which saves time during sanding tasks.

Designed for professionals, the 360L model is ideal for fine sanding on plastics and gel coats. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive allows discs to stick firmly to a Stikit Disc Pad, ensuring smooth operation on a random orbital sander.

    Precise Size And Format

Each disc measures 6 inches in diameter and comes in a roll format, providing convenience and flexibility. The roll eliminates the hassle of peeling liners from individual discs, streamlining your sanding process.

This format supports continuous sanding without interruption, making it perfect for high-production environments. The 6 in x NH size fits standard sanding tools, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.

    Durable Film Backing

The discs feature a durable film backing that resists tearing and maintains close-tolerance finishes. This backing outperforms standard paper backings by offering longer life and consistent sanding results.

Thanks to this tear-resistant film, the discs handle spot repairs, paint feathering, and automotive primer sanding with precision. The backing supports a smooth finish on polyurethane solid surfaces and other materials.

    Grade P1000 Abrasive Quality

These rolls use P1000 grade aluminum oxide abrasive, known for fast cutting and long-lasting performance. This mineral self-fractures to expose fresh edges, maintaining effectiveness over extended use.

The P1000 grade is suitable for fine sanding and finishing tasks across various surfaces, including ferrous alloys and wood. Its open coat design reduces loading and enhances cutting aggressiveness.

    Bulk Pack Convenience

The product comes with 125 discs per roll and 4 rolls per case, providing ample supply for large projects. This pack size supports continuous work without frequent reordering or downtime.

Having multiple rolls on hand ensures you can maintain productivity in busy workshops. The bulk packaging is ideal for professionals who need consistent sanding materials ready to use.
