3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L are constructed of aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing and work well for fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surface substrates.

Our discs feature a sturdy film backing that provides the durability needed for a high-production environment, and offer excellent resistance to edge tearing to increase the life of the disc over discs with standard A-weight paper backings. At the same time, the film backing provides a close-tolerance, consistent finish, making it a good choice for applications such as spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, or sanding automotive primer.

To help reduce loading on the disc, the disc has open coat construction without a load-resistant stearate coating. The Stikit adhesive on the backing conveniently attaches the disc to a low-profile 3M Stikit Disc Pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander. 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L comes in a range of grades for various applications from fine sanding to finishing.

Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isn’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. An open coat means the abrasive grains have space between them so that sanding debris collects in the spaces rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains. This feature has the added advantage of producing a more aggressive cut.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L is designed for quick application and easy removal thanks to its Stikit adhesive backing. This feature saves time and effort when attaching discs to sanding pads, making it ideal for professionals who need efficiency.

This model comes in a roll format, allowing you to cut discs to size without dealing with individual liners. The Stikit system works with low-profile disc pads, ensuring a secure fit and smooth sanding experience.

    Durable Film Backing Benefits

The discs feature a durable film backing that resists tearing and delivers a consistent finish. This backing is more robust than standard paper, extending the life of each disc even in high-production environments.

Thanks to this film backing, the discs provide close-tolerance sanding, which is perfect for spot repairs, paint feathering, and sanding automotive primer. The 6 in x NH P320 size offers precise control for fine sanding tasks.

    Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Strength

These discs use aluminum oxide abrasive, known for its fast cutting action and long-lasting performance. This mineral self-fractures to expose fresh edges, maintaining effectiveness over time.

Aluminum oxide works well on various materials, including plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surfaces. The P320 grade in the 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L is ideal for fine sanding and finishing applications.

    Open Coat Construction Advantage

The open coat design reduces loading by spacing abrasive grains apart, preventing debris buildup on the cutting surface. This results in a more aggressive cut and longer disc life.

This construction is especially useful when sanding materials prone to clogging, such as plastics and automotive primers. The 100 discs per roll format ensures you have plenty of material for extended projects.

    Convenient Roll Format

Each roll contains 100 discs, and the product comes in a case of 4 rolls, making it easy to stock up for large jobs. The roll format eliminates the hassle of peeling liners from individual discs.

The 6 in diameter and NH (non-hole) design fit standard disc pads, providing compatibility with many sanding tools. This pack size and format help keep your workspace organized and efficient.
