3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L are constructed of aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing and work well for fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surface substrates.

Our discs feature a sturdy film backing that provides the durability needed for a high-production environment, and offer excellent resistance to edge tearing to increase the life of the disc over discs with standard A-weight paper backings. At the same time, the film backing provides a close-tolerance, consistent finish, making it a good choice for applications such as spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, or sanding automotive primer.

To help reduce loading on the disc, the disc has open coat construction without a load-resistant stearate coating. The Stikit adhesive on the backing conveniently attaches the disc to a low-profile 3M Stikit Disc Pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander. 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L comes in a range of grades for various applications from fine sanding to finishing.

Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isn’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. An open coat means the abrasive grains have space between them so that sanding debris collects in the spaces rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains. This feature has the added advantage of producing a more aggressive cut.

We chose aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Our 3M Stikit system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    Trusted 3M Stikit Model

The 3M Stikit Film Disc Roll 360L offers a reliable sanding solution with the trusted 3M brand backing it. This model features the Stikit adhesive system, making it easy to apply and remove discs quickly during work.

Designed for efficiency, the 360L model is perfect for professionals who want a consistent sanding experience. Its adhesive backing sticks firmly to compatible pads, speeding up your workflow without sacrificing quality.

    Precise Five Inch Size

Each disc measures 5 inches in diameter, providing a versatile size that fits many standard sanding tools. This dimension balances surface coverage and control for detailed sanding tasks.

The 5-inch size works well on various surfaces, including plastics and automotive primers, making it a practical choice for spot repairs and finishing jobs requiring precision.

    Durable Film Backing

The discs use a durable film backing that resists tearing and ensures a consistent finish. This backing outperforms traditional paper, offering longer life and better tolerance during sanding.

This tear-resistant film backing supports high-production environments by maintaining disc integrity. It’s ideal for sanding gel coats, polyurethane surfaces, and other materials needing a smooth finish.

    Open Coat P220 Grade

The P220 grade aluminum oxide abrasive on these discs provides a fast cut and long life. The open coat construction reduces loading, allowing debris to clear away for a more aggressive sanding action.

This grade is suitable for fine sanding and finishing tasks, especially on delicate surfaces. The open coat design helps maintain cutting efficiency, making it easier to work on automotive primers and plastic parts.

    Convenient Roll Format

These discs come in rolls of 125 discs each, with 4 rolls per case, simplifying storage and use. The roll format eliminates the need to peel liners from individual discs, saving time on the job.

Having 500 discs per case ensures you have plenty of supply for large projects or extended use. This packaging suits busy workshops that require quick access to sanding discs without interruption.
