Product Description
- 3M Roloc attachment system enables efficient and secure attachment and removal of the disc
- A blend of ceramic and aluminum oxide mineral self-sharpens and offers improved durability and cut-rate over aluminum oxide
- Grinding aid reduces grinding temperatures for processes involving heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium
- Heat-resistant resin coating bonds abrasive to backing for durability under pressure, heat, and water
- Polyester backing is extremely tough to support medium-pressure applications while maintaining consistent performance in both wet and dry applications
Our 3M Roloc Disc 777F is resin-bonded to withstand high heat and pressure. A grinding aid on the 777F disc reduces grinding temperatures to protect heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel and nickel alloys.
3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. For increased performance, 3M Roloc Disc 777F products feature aluminum oxide mineral blended with 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain which is one of the hardest, longest-lasting minerals available. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic aluminum oxide blends surpass aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability making them an excellent choice for difficult grinding applications.
3M Roloc Disc 777F is available for use with the following Roloc attachment systems: TSM, TR, TP and TS. Please select discs with the attachment design made for your system.
3M Roloc Disc Model
The 3M Roloc Disc 777F is designed for efficient and secure attachment using the 3M Roloc system. This model ensures quick disc changes, saving time during grinding tasks.
Its compatibility with various Roloc attachment systems like TSM, TR, TP, and TS makes it versatile for different tools. The 777F model stands out for its reliable performance in demanding environments.
Durable Grade And Weight
This disc features a 36 YF-weight grade, blending ceramic and aluminum oxide minerals. This combination self-sharpens and offers improved durability compared to standard aluminum oxide discs.
Such a grade is ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal, providing a consistent cut rate and lasting longer under pressure. It’s perfect for users needing both toughness and efficiency.
Size And Format Details
The disc measures 3 inches in diameter with an NH arbor hole, fitting a variety of grinders. This size balances control and coverage for many grinding and finishing applications.
Its Roloc TR format allows for quick attachment and removal, enhancing workflow. The 3-inch size is common for detailed work while still handling medium-pressure tasks effectively.
Backing And Coating Strength
Equipped with a heavy, water-resistant polyester backing, the disc supports medium-pressure applications without losing performance. This backing is tough enough for both wet and dry use.
A heat-resistant resin coating bonds the abrasive firmly to the backing, ensuring durability under heat, pressure, and water exposure. This makes the disc reliable in challenging conditions.
Pack Count And Usage
Each carton contains 50 discs, with 200 discs per case, making it suitable for high-volume operations. This pack size helps maintain supply without frequent reordering.
The 3M Roloc Disc 777F is designed to reduce grinding temperatures, protecting heat-sensitive alloys like stainless steel and nickel alloys. This feature extends disc life and improves safety.
