  • Product Description
    • 3M Roloc attachment system enables efficient and secure attachment and removal of the disc
    • A blend of ceramic and aluminum oxide mineral self-sharpens and offers improved durability and cut-rate over aluminum oxide
    • Grinding aid reduces grinding temperatures for processes involving heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium
    • Heat-resistant resin coating bonds abrasive to backing for durability under pressure, heat, and water
    • Polyester backing is extremely tough to support medium-pressure applications while maintaining consistent performance in both wet and dry applications
3M Roloc Disc 777F features 3M-engineered high-performing ceramic abrasive grain blended with aluminum oxide for a combination of durability and cutting efficiency that increases productivity for both stock removal and finishing. The heavy, water-resistant polyester backing supports medium-pressure applications, a consistent cut-rate, and both wet and dry applications.

Our 3M Roloc Disc 777F is resin-bonded to withstand high heat and pressure. A grinding aid on the 777F disc reduces grinding temperatures to protect heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel and nickel alloys.

3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. For increased performance, 3M Roloc Disc 777F products feature aluminum oxide mineral blended with 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain which is one of the hardest, longest-lasting minerals available. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic aluminum oxide blends surpass aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability making them an excellent choice for difficult grinding applications.

3M Roloc Disc 777F is available for use with the following Roloc attachment systems: TSM, TR, TP and TS. Please select discs with the attachment design made for your system.

    3M Roloc Disc Model

The 3M Roloc Disc 777F is designed for efficient grinding with a secure attachment system. This model features the trusted 3M Roloc attachment, making disc changes quick and reliable for various applications.

Its compatibility with multiple Roloc systems like TSM, TR, TP, and TS ensures you can select the right disc for your tool setup. This flexibility supports a wide range of grinding tasks with ease.

    Grade And Weight Benefits

Featuring an 80 YF-weight grade, this disc balances aggressive cutting with durability. The ceramic and aluminum oxide blend self-sharpens, maintaining performance longer than standard aluminum oxide discs.

This grade is ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal, providing consistent cut rates while handling intense heat and pressure during use. It’s a solid choice for demanding grinding jobs.

    Disc Size And Format

The disc measures 3 inches in diameter, making it suitable for detailed and controlled grinding tasks. Its size supports precision work while still offering enough surface area for efficient material removal.

Designed as a Die RS300V format, it fits specific backing pads and tools, ensuring a secure fit and optimal performance. This format helps maintain stability during grinding operations.

    Backing And Coating Features

This disc uses a heavy, water-resistant polyester backing that supports medium-pressure applications. The backing is tough enough to maintain consistent performance in both wet and dry conditions.

A heat-resistant resin coating bonds the abrasive to the backing, enhancing durability under pressure, heat, and exposure to water. This combination extends the disc’s lifespan in challenging environments.

    Pack Size And Usage

Each carton contains 50 discs, and a full case includes 200 discs, making it convenient for large projects or frequent use. The pack size ensures you have enough discs on hand to maintain workflow without interruption.

The grinding aid incorporated in the disc reduces temperatures during use, protecting heat-sensitive alloys like stainless steel and nickel alloys. This feature is crucial for maintaining material integrity during grinding.
