    Hearing Conservation Benefits Explained

This hygiene kit is essential for hearing conservation by allowing users to test the fit of their earmuffs. It helps verify that the earmuffs provide the expected noise reduction, which is critical for workplace safety.

Although the NRR may overestimate protection during typical use, this kit’s fit testing ensures employees get a personal attenuation rating. This helps employers confirm the actual level of hearing protection their workers receive.

    Fit Testing System Compatibility

The kit works with the 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear Validation System, which evaluates earmuff fit by issuing a pass or fail rating. This system is designed to work with 3M PELTOR X-Series X4 and X5 earmuffs, ensuring accurate fit testing.

Adapter clips included in the kit hold microphones next to earmuffs during testing. This positioning is crucial for accurate results and helps maintain consistent testing standards across users.

    Probed Cushions Reusability Advantage

The hygiene kit includes probed cushions that easily snap into 3M PELTOR X-Series X4 and X5 earmuffs. These cushions can be cleaned with hygiene wipes and reused, making them practical for repeated fit testing.

By replacing standard cushions with probed test cushions, workers can be fit tested without needing new earmuffs. This saves costs and simplifies the process of verifying hearing protection effectiveness.

    Pack Size And Case Details

This product comes as a 10 Kits/Case pack, providing enough supplies for multiple employees or repeated testing sessions. The case includes two pairs of probed cushions and two pairs of adapter clips per kit.

Having a full case of 10 kits ensures workplaces can maintain consistent hygiene and fit testing protocols. It supports ongoing hearing conservation efforts by supplying enough components for regular use.
