3M Microfinishing PSA Film Disc Roll 366L include multiple sanding discs packaged in a roll for convenience and use in high-production environments. These discs are rated Best in the 3M Microfinishing line of film backed discs.

We gave these discs premium, micron-graded aluminum oxide abrasive, which is bonded to a durable polyester film backing to produce a fast cut-rate and uniform finish on wood, solid surface composites, plastic, fiberglass, paint prep, coating and corrosion removal, primer, e-coat, metal, or where loading is an issue. An anti-load coating and open coat surface increase efficiency and product life by minimizing loading. The abrasive is resin-bonded and supports disc flexibility without sacrificing durability and reliable performance under high heat and pressure. To compliment the effective abrasive action, the polyester film backing flexes to help achieve a consistent finish over contours and offers greater tear-resistance than comparable paper products, making it ideal for high-production environments. And the pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) provides easy attachment, holds the disc securely in place during use, and removes cleanly from the backup pad (sold separately). Designed for use with orbital and random orbital sanders, this disc comes in a range of micron grades and dust free option for complete multi-step sanding and finishing.

Our 3M™ Microfinishing PSA Film Disc Roll 366L features precision, micron-graded aluminum oxide, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Sanding discs cut better and last longer when dust isn't clogging the cutting surface of the abrasives. Open coat construction means the abrasive grains are placed with space between them to help evacuate sawdust and other sanding debris and avoid clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. Additionally, the open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. All of this adds up to increased productivity and reduced material consumption.

Our 3M™ sanding discs come in a variety of forms to fit various power tools and disc pads. These high-quality abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to a backup pad or hand pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next sheet or disc.

    Trusted 3M Model Quality

The 3M Microfinishing PSA Film Disc Roll 366L is a reliable choice for professionals needing consistent finishing results. This exact model features a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that makes attaching and removing discs quick and clean, saving time during multi-step sanding processes.

Designed for high-production environments, the 366L model includes 125 discs per roll, with 4 rolls per case, ensuring you have plenty of supply for extended projects. This pack count supports continuous work without frequent reordering.

    Precise Grade And Cut

These discs come with a 120 micron grade, offering a fast cut rate and uniform finish on various materials. The 3MIL thickness balances durability and flexibility, making it suitable for detailed finishing tasks.

The precision, micron-graded aluminum oxide abrasive is resin-bonded to maintain sharpness longer than traditional abrasives. This grade is ideal for wood, metal, composites, and more, providing consistent performance across different substrates.

    Flexible Durable Backing

The durable polyester film backing on these 5 inch discs offers excellent flexibility, allowing them to conform to contoured surfaces without tearing. This flexibility helps achieve a consistent finish even on complex shapes.

Compared to paper-backed discs, the polyester film backing resists tearing and withstands high heat and pressure, making it perfect for demanding sanding applications where durability matters.

    Open Coat Load Resistance

The open coat construction spaces abrasive grains to reduce clogging from dust and debris. This design ensures the disc maintains aggressive cutting action longer, improving productivity and reducing material waste.

Additionally, the load-resistant coating prevents softwoods, paints, and other materials from clogging the disc, allowing continuous cutting without frequent disc changes or cleaning interruptions.

    Convenient Size And Format

Each disc measures 5 inches in diameter and features a Type D hole pattern, compatible with many orbital and random orbital sanders. This size and format make them versatile for various sanding tools and applications.

The discs come in a roll format with 125 discs per roll and 4 rolls per case, providing easy dispensing and storage. This packaging suits high-volume users who need quick access to multiple discs during projects.
