The 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U combines a blend of ceramic and aluminum oxide abrasive grain and a heavy F-weight paper backing to make short work for tasks like defect repair on metals, prep for paint and orbital sanding. 3M Hookit attachment system makes tool attachment swift and simple.

Stay Cooler, Cut Faster, Last Longer
A blend of aluminum oxide and 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain provides our 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U with its fast cut and exceptional durability.

Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal as well as finishing, ceramic abrasives are engineered to handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blends surpass aluminum oxide alone in cut-rate and durability and make an excellent choice for difficult grinding applications. Closed coat construction contributes to higher stock removal and longer life. It is great for final finishing and polishing on metal substrates, as well, because the dense concentration of mineral lays down a finer pattern.

Available in grades of 60, 80, P100 and P120, 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U is a premium product that is ideal for work on metal. With a resin bond that is tough and resilient, and paired with the F-weight paper backing, this disc is made to stand up to demanding applications.

    Swift, Simple, Secure Attachment
Hookit sanding discs conveniently attach to a 3M Hookit Disc Pad (sold separately), can be removed swiftly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. It couldn't be simpler to attach a disc, and it stays firmly seated. This disc tends to leave finer finishes than a flatter pressure-sensitive backing, it is more flexible and it resists contamination by dust, dirt, and debris unlike pressure-sensitive adhesive backings.

    Recommended Applications
The 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U is commonly used for blending and finishing stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel.

    Trusted 3M Hookit Model

The 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U is a reliable choice for metal finishing and blending. This model combines a ceramic aluminum oxide blend with a strong F-weight paper backing for durability and performance.

Designed specifically for tasks like defect repair and paint prep, the 763U model ensures fast cutting and long-lasting use. Its Hookit attachment system makes changing discs quick and easy.

    Durable F-Weight Backing

The extra heavy F-weight paper backing on the 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U withstands rugged use and resists tearing. This backing supports the abrasive grain for tough applications on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.

This strong backing also helps the disc maintain flexibility and resist contamination from dust and debris, making it ideal for demanding metalworking jobs.

    Precise Five Inch Size

Measuring 5 inches in diameter with a NH arbor hole, this disc fits a range of orbital sanders and tools. The size is perfect for detailed blending and finishing work on metal surfaces.

Its dimensions allow for efficient coverage and control during use, making it suitable for both moderate and heavy stock removal tasks.

    Effective P120 Grade Abrasive

The P120 F-weight grade of the 3M Hookit Paper Disc 763U offers a balance of cut rate and finish quality. This grade is excellent for paint stripping and final polishing on metal substrates.

With a closed coat construction, the disc maintains a dense abrasive pattern that delivers consistent results and longer life compared to aluminum oxide alone.

    Convenient Bulk Packaging

This product comes in a carton of 100 discs, with 500 discs per case, making it ideal for professional shops and high-volume users. The bulk packaging ensures you have plenty of discs on hand for ongoing projects.

Having a large pack count reduces downtime and simplifies inventory management, especially when working on multiple metal finishing jobs.
