3M Hookit Film Disc 375L delivers outstanding tear resistance, flexibility, and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates. Premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain offers a fast cut-rate and extended product life for greater productivity.

Durable film construction provides the tear resistance needed for the use of coarse grades in high-production metalworking environments, particularly where edge wear is a concern.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is suitable for a variety of applications. When the goal is a superior wood finish, the 375L film disc in medium grades conforms well to the contours and rounded edges of challenging work surfaces to deliver a superior finish. Woodworking applications are further enhanced by a load-resistant coating and open coat construction, which reduce clogging and extend the life of the abrasive. For pre- and post-paint finishing, versatility is key, and the 375L film disc in fine grades is designed to deliver a superb uniform finish on plastics and clear coat technologies commonly used in the transportation industry.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for use with a random orbital sander and the 3M Hookit backup pad (sold separately). It comes in a range of grades for various applications from rough sanding to very fine finishing.

Hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs are ideal for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. Hookit discs provide optimal performance when paired with a 3M Hookit disc pad.

Film-backed discs have excellent tear-resistant properties and provide a very uniform finish and consistent results with each use. This makes them an excellent option when working on paint, e-coats, primers, gel coats, glass, acrylics and solid surface material, wood topcoats and anywhere else a perfect finish is needed.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

    Trusted 3M Hookit Model

The 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for easy changing and reusing, maximizing the life of each disc. This model features a durable film backing that resists tearing and ensures a consistent finish every time.

Ideal for various surfaces, the 375L model works well in high-production metalworking environments. Its tear resistance and flexibility make it a reliable choice for professionals seeking quality results.

    Precise P400 Grade Performance

The P400 3MIL grade of this 3M Hookit Film Disc offers a fine abrasive surface that delivers a uniform finish. This grade is perfect for pre- and post-paint finishing, especially on plastics and clear coat surfaces.

Users benefit from the load-resistant coating and open coat construction, which reduce clogging and extend the disc’s life. This makes the P400 grade suitable for detailed finishing tasks on contoured surfaces.

    Optimal 5 Inch Size

Measuring 5 inches in diameter, this disc fits well with standard random orbital sanders. The size allows for comfortable handling and effective sanding on both flat and curved surfaces.

The 5-inch dimension also supports the use of the 3M Hookit backup pad, sold separately, ensuring a secure attachment and consistent sanding performance throughout the job.

    Hookit Format System

The Hookit system uses a hook-and-loop attachment method, making disc changes quick and clean without adhesive residue. This format is especially useful in dusty or dirty workspaces where adhesive discs might fail.

Hookit discs like the 375L model provide finer finishes compared to adhesive-backed discs. They can be reused multiple times, offering both convenience and cost savings for users.

    Bulk Pack Count Advantage

This product comes in a pack of 50 discs per carton and 250 discs per case, ideal for high-volume users. Buying in bulk ensures you have enough discs on hand for extended projects without frequent reordering.

The large pack count supports continuous work in professional settings, reducing downtime and maintaining productivity with the trusted 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L, P400 3MIL, 5 in x NH, Die 500X.
