3M Hookit Film Disc 375L delivers outstanding tear resistance, flexibility, and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates. Premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain offers a fast cut-rate and extended product life for greater productivity.

Durable film construction provides the tear resistance needed for the use of coarse grades in high-production metalworking environments, particularly where edge wear is a concern.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is suitable for a variety of applications. When the goal is a superior wood finish, the 375L film disc in medium grades conforms well to the contours and rounded edges of challenging work surfaces to deliver a superior finish. Woodworking applications are further enhanced by a load-resistant coating and open coat construction, which reduce clogging and extend the life of the abrasive. For pre- and post-paint finishing, versatility is key, and the 375L film disc in fine grades is designed to deliver a superb uniform finish on plastics and clear coat technologies commonly used in the transportation industry.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for use with a random orbital sander and the 3M Hookit backup pad (sold separately). It comes in a range of grades for various applications from rough sanding to very fine finishing.

Hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs are ideal for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. Hookit discs provide optimal performance when paired with a 3M Hookit disc pad.

Film-backed discs have excellent tear-resistant properties and provide a very uniform finish and consistent results with each use. This makes them an excellent option when working on paint, e-coats, primers, gel coats, glass, acrylics and solid surface material, wood topcoats and anywhere else a perfect finish is needed.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

    Trusted 3M Hookit Quality

The 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for durability and ease of use. This model features the Hookit system, allowing discs to be changed and reused efficiently, maximizing the life of each disc. The brand's reputation ensures consistent performance across various applications.

With the 375L model, users benefit from a premium aluminum oxide abrasive that offers a fast cut and long life. This abrasive performs well on many surfaces, making it a versatile choice for professionals who demand quality and reliability.

    Precise P240 Grade Performance

The P240 3MIL grade of the 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L provides a fine abrasive suitable for finishing tasks. This grade is ideal for achieving a uniform, consistent finish on plastics, clear coats, and wood surfaces. Its fine grit helps deliver superior results on contoured and rounded edges.

Users working in transportation or woodworking industries will find this grade especially useful. The load-resistant coating and open coat construction reduce clogging, extending the disc's life and maintaining cutting efficiency throughout use.

    Durable 5 Inch Size

The disc measures 5 inches in diameter, making it compatible with many random orbital sanders. This size is practical for both broad surface sanding and detailed contour work, providing flexibility in various sanding projects.

Its film backing is tear-resistant, ensuring the disc holds up well under demanding conditions. This durability supports consistent, uniform finishes on substrates like wood, metal, and plastics, even during high-production tasks.

    Efficient NH Format Design

The NH die-cut format of the 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L allows for quick and secure attachment to compatible backup pads. This format supports easy disc changes, reducing downtime and improving workflow efficiency on the job.

Designed for use with the 3M Hookit backup pad (sold separately), the NH format ensures a firm hold during sanding. This system is especially beneficial in environments where adhesive-backed discs might get contaminated or wear out too quickly.

    Convenient 250 Piece Pack

Each case contains 250 discs, packed as 50 discs per carton, providing ample supply for extended projects or multiple users. This bulk packaging supports cost-effective purchasing and reduces the need for frequent reordering.

Having a large pack count is ideal for professional workshops and industrial settings where consistent sanding quality and availability are crucial. The packaging also helps keep discs organized and protected until use.
