3M Hookit Film Disc 375L delivers outstanding tear resistance, flexibility, and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates. Premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain offers a fast cut-rate and extended product life for greater productivity.

Durable film construction provides the tear resistance needed for the use of coarse grades in high-production metalworking environments, particularly where edge wear is a concern.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is suitable for a variety of applications. When the goal is a superior wood finish, the 375L film disc in medium grades conforms well to the contours and rounded edges of challenging work surfaces to deliver a superior finish. Woodworking applications are further enhanced by a load-resistant coating and open coat construction, which reduce clogging and extend the life of the abrasive. For pre- and post-paint finishing, versatility is key, and the 375L film disc in fine grades is designed to deliver a superb uniform finish on plastics and clear coat technologies commonly used in the transportation industry.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for use with a random orbital sander and the 3M Hookit backup pad (sold separately). It comes in a range of grades for various applications from rough sanding to very fine finishing.

Hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs are ideal for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. Hookit discs provide optimal performance when paired with a 3M Hookit disc pad.

Film-backed discs have excellent tear-resistant properties and provide a very uniform finish and consistent results with each use. This makes them an excellent option when working on paint, e-coats, primers, gel coats, glass, acrylics and solid surface material, wood topcoats and anywhere else a perfect finish is needed.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

    Reliable 3M Hookit Model

The 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for easy changing and reusing, maximizing the disc’s life. This model features a hook-and-loop system that firmly attaches to backup pads, making it convenient for repeated use without adhesive residue.

Its durable film backing resists tearing and ensures a consistent finish, ideal for various surfaces. The 375L model suits professionals needing a dependable sanding disc with lasting performance.

    Precise P220 Grade Abrasive

The P220 3MIL grade of this disc offers a fine abrasive suitable for detailed finishing tasks. This grade balances cutting speed with surface smoothness, making it excellent for pre- and post-paint finishing on plastics and clear coats.

Users benefit from the premium aluminum oxide abrasive that delivers a fast cut and long life. This grade is especially useful for achieving uniform finishes on contoured surfaces and rounded edges.

    Optimal 5 Inch Size

Measuring 5 inches in diameter, the disc fits standard random orbital sanders and backup pads. This size provides good surface coverage while allowing precise control during sanding operations.

The 5-inch dimension is compatible with many sanding tools, making it versatile for woodworking, metalworking, and automotive applications. It’s a practical size for both rough sanding and fine finishing.

    Efficient Die 500X Format

The Die 500X format refers to the disc’s specific shape and hole pattern, designed to optimize dust extraction and sanding efficiency. This format helps reduce clogging and extends the abrasive life.

Its open coat construction combined with the Die 500X design ensures aggressive cutting while maintaining a clean sanding surface. This makes it suitable for high-production environments where dust management is critical.

    Convenient 50 Per Carton

Each carton contains 50 discs, providing ample supply for ongoing projects or professional use. This pack size supports efficient inventory management and reduces frequent reordering.

With 250 discs per case, users can stock up for larger operations or multiple workstations. The pack count makes it easy to plan for both small and large-scale sanding needs.
