3M Hookit Film Disc 375L delivers outstanding tear resistance, flexibility, and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates. Premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain offers a fast cut-rate and extended product life for greater productivity.

Durable film construction provides the tear resistance needed for the use of coarse grades in high-production metalworking environments, particularly where edge wear is a concern.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is suitable for a variety of applications. When the goal is a superior wood finish, the 375L film disc in medium grades conforms well to the contours and rounded edges of challenging work surfaces to deliver a superior finish. Woodworking applications are further enhanced by a load-resistant coating and open coat construction, which reduce clogging and extend the life of the abrasive. For pre- and post-paint finishing, versatility is key, and the 375L film disc in fine grades is designed to deliver a superb uniform finish on plastics and clear coat technologies commonly used in the transportation industry.

3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for use with a random orbital sander and the 3M Hookit backup pad (sold separately). It comes in a range of grades for various applications from rough sanding to very fine finishing.

Hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs are ideal for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. Hookit discs provide optimal performance when paired with a 3M Hookit disc pad.

Film-backed discs have excellent tear-resistant properties and provide a very uniform finish and consistent results with each use. This makes them an excellent option when working on paint, e-coats, primers, gel coats, glass, acrylics and solid surface material, wood topcoats and anywhere else a perfect finish is needed.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

    3M Hookit Disc Model

The 3M Hookit Film Disc 375L is designed for easy changing and reuse, maximizing the utility of each disc. This model features a durable film backing that resists tearing and ensures a consistent finish every time.

Ideal for various applications, the 375L model works well on contoured surfaces and provides a uniform finish. Its hook-and-loop system allows quick attachment and removal, making it a practical choice for many sanding tasks.

    Grade P120 Abrasive Quality

The P120 grade of this 3MIL film disc offers an aggressive cut with premium aluminum oxide abrasive. This abrasive is known for its fast cutting rate and long life, making it suitable for both woodworking and metalworking projects.

Thanks to the open coat construction and load-resistant coating, the disc resists clogging from dust and debris. This keeps the abrasive effective longer and helps maintain a smooth finish on various surfaces.

    Dimensions Six Inch Size

This sanding disc measures 6 inches in diameter, fitting standard random orbital sanders. The size is ideal for detailed work and larger surface areas, providing versatility in sanding applications.

With a 6-inch size, the disc balances control and coverage, making it suitable for finishing wood, plastics, and painted surfaces. It pairs well with 3M Hookit backup pads for optimal performance.

    Hookit Format System

The Hookit format uses a hook-and-loop attachment system, allowing discs to be easily attached and removed from backup pads. This system supports repeated use of each disc, extending its effective life.

Hookit discs are preferred in environments where adhesive-backed discs might get contaminated. They provide finer finishes compared to adhesive discs and are compatible with 3M Hookit backup pads sold separately.

    Pack Count Convenience

This product comes in a pack of 50 discs per carton and 250 discs per case, ensuring a steady supply for high-production environments. The pack size supports continuous work without frequent reordering.

Having 50 discs per carton allows for easy inventory management and sharing among teams. The larger case quantity suits industrial settings where sanding is a regular task, improving efficiency.
