Best-in-Class Performance in Every Grade

The disc features a tough ceramic blended with premium aluminum oxide mineral for just the right balance. 3M Blue Abrasives deliver consistently excellent results in a minimum amount of time, on jobs ranging from aggressive paint removal and fresh filler sanding to blend preparation and sanding primer. Discs are available in a wide range of sizes and grades.
Dust Extraction and Anti-Loading Features Enhance Performance and Life
The multi-hole pattern discs are specially designed to capture dust and keep it away from the abrasive surface. This specially-designed hole pattern reduces loading and extracts dust more efficiently compared to standard 6- or 7-hole disc configurations. It includes alignment guides across the disc, making it fast and easy to align with nearly any backup pad. The mineral blend on the 3M Hookit Blue Abrasive Disc is bonded using upgraded resins for enhanced durability. An anti-loading coating helps keep dust from gathering between the abrasive grains for a faster cut and for consistent performance throughout the life of the disc.
Our Hookit Attachment System
The Hookit attachment system has a hook-and-loop feature which makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment clean and easy. It also facilitates use and re-use of the disc for maximum product life. Hookit discs have a brushed nylon loop backing of the type most commonly used in everyday hook-and-loop applications. 3M Hookit disc pads (sold separately) feature hooks which grip the brushed nylon loop backing. It’s simple: just attach the disc and start sanding. The disc removes just as cleanly and easily. The Hookit system is designed for work spaces and applications where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or debris.

Precise 80 Grade Abrasive
This abrasive disc features an 80 grade, offering a balanced cut for paint prep and coatings removal. The grade is suitable for aggressive sanding while maintaining control over the finish.
Use it for tasks like fresh filler sanding or blend preparation. The 80 grade ensures the right level of abrasion for effective surface work without over-sanding.
Six Inch Size Advantage
With a 6 inch diameter, this disc fits a wide range of sanding tools and backup pads. The size provides a good balance between coverage and maneuverability for detailed or broad sanding jobs.
This dimension is common in many workshops, making the disc versatile for different projects. It works well with multi-hole or no-hole formats depending on dust extraction needs.
No Hole Format Benefits
The disc comes in a no hole format, which suits applications where dust extraction is less critical or where a solid surface is preferred. This format helps maintain consistent abrasive contact.
It’s perfect for jobs that don’t require vacuum sanding systems. The no hole design also reduces the risk of clogging in certain environments.
Large 200 Disc Pack
Sold as a case of 200 discs, this pack size supports high-volume sanding needs. It’s cost-effective for busy shops or projects requiring frequent disc changes.
The pack includes 50 discs per carton, making storage and inventory management easier. This quantity ensures you have enough supply for extended work periods without interruption.
