Our 3M™ Green Corps™ Fibre Discs are designed to hold up to a heavy workload and are ideally suited for such applications as grinding door skins, coating removal, paint removal, gasket removal, rust and weld removal, general metal work, and clear coat applications on metal, plastic or fiberglass. These performance grinding discs are easily changeable with a rub and retainer nut design onto an appropriate grinding tool.
3M™ Green Corps™ Fibre Disc makes use of our 3M™ Ceramic mineral, which offers exceptional durability and improved cutting efficiency. The unique “stay sharp” crystalline structure of the ceramic grain continually generates fresh cutting edges on the surface of the workpiece, ensuring an exceptionally fast and sustained cut. The fast and uniform cutting action helps increase productivity and throughput. Additionally, the grain can withstand medium to high pressure production environments, contributing to the abrasive's long service life.
Trusted 3M Green Corps
The 3M Green Corps Fibre Disc 36508 is a reliable choice for grinding tasks. This model features 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain that cuts fast, helping to boost productivity on the job.
Designed for durability, these discs handle heavy workloads well. The 3M brand ensures quality and performance for various metal, plastic, and fiberglass applications.
Precise 5 Inch Size
Each disc measures 5 inches in diameter with a 7/8 inch arbor hole, fitting many standard grinding tools. This size is ideal for detailed work on door skins and welds.
The 5 in x 7/8 in dimensions make these discs versatile for grinding paint, rust, and metal surfaces, providing a balance of control and coverage.
Effective Grade Sixty Grit
These discs come with a 60 grit grade, offering a good mix of cutting speed and surface finish. This grade suits tasks like weld removal and general metal work.
Using 60 grit helps maintain a steady cut rate while managing heat and pressure, thanks to the resin bond that stabilizes the disc during use.
Convenient Pack Format
The product is sold as 20 discs per bag, with 5 bags per case, making a total of 100 discs. This pack size supports ongoing projects without frequent reordering.
Having multiple discs in a case ensures you can quickly replace worn discs using the hub and retainer nut system, minimizing downtime.
Quick Attachment System
The discs feature a hub and retainer nut design for easy and fast attachment to grinding tools. This system simplifies changing discs during work.
This quick replacement method helps maintain workflow efficiency, especially when switching between tasks like paint removal and metal grinding.
