These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.
Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
3M Cubitron II Model
The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc Roll 775L is a high-performance abrasive designed for fast and efficient stock removal. This model features the 3M Stikit attachment system, which makes changing discs quick and hassle-free.
With the 775L model, you get a reliable abrasive that suits various applications. The Stikit system ensures easy attachment and removal, saving time during sanding tasks.
Grade And Backing Details
This product uses the 400+ grade, providing a balance of aggressive cutting and smooth finish. The film backing enhances tear resistance and edge retention, making the discs durable during heavy use.
Film backing also helps maintain the disc's shape and performance over time. This makes the 400+ grade discs ideal for working on metals, composites, and other tough substrates.
Disc Size And Format
The discs measure 6 inches in diameter and feature a NH (non-hole) format, suitable for various sanding tools. This size offers good surface coverage and control for stock removal tasks.
The NH format means the discs have no pre-cut holes, which works well with compatible sanding machines. This size and format combination is versatile for many industrial and workshop uses.
Die Cut And Roll Packaging
These discs come die cut with the 600Z pattern, ensuring precise and consistent shapes for optimal sanding performance. The die cut design helps maintain uniformity across all discs in the roll.
Each roll contains 100 discs, and the product is sold in cases of 4 rolls. This packaging provides a large quantity for extended use and reduces the need for frequent reordering.
Pack Count And Convenience
The full pack includes 4 rolls, each with 100 discs, totaling 400 discs per case. This large pack size supports continuous work without interruption, ideal for busy shops or production lines.
Using the 3M Stikit system, these discs attach easily to compatible backup pads, making disc changes fast and clean. This convenience helps maintain productivity and reduces downtime.
