These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.
Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
Trusted 3M Cubitron II
The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc Roll 775L is a reliable choice for abrasive needs. This model features the 3M Stikit attachment system, making disc changes quick and easy without mess or fuss.
Designed for professionals, the 775L grade ensures consistent performance. Its 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology delivers fast cutting and long-lasting durability, ideal for demanding tasks.
Fast Cutting Performance
These discs cut up to 2 times faster than conventional abrasives, saving time on stock removal jobs. The 180+ grit grade balances speed with a smooth finish for versatile use.
Thanks to the triangular ceramic grain, the discs slice cleanly through materials rather than gouging. This results in efficient work and less frequent disc changes.
Durable Film Backing
The 5 inch diameter discs come with a film backing that offers greater tear resistance compared to paper. This backing helps maintain edge retention and extends the disc’s usable life.
Film backing also supports consistent performance across a variety of substrates, including metals and composites, making these discs suitable for many applications.
Convenient Roll Format
Each roll contains 100 discs, and the product comes in a case of 4 rolls, providing a total of 400 discs. This format is ideal for high-volume users who need a steady supply.
The roll format combined with the Stikit system means discs are easy to store and apply. This helps reduce downtime and keeps work moving smoothly.
Wide Application Versatility
The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc Roll 775L works well on many substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. It’s primarily designed for stock removal tasks.
Pairing these discs with 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders enhances performance. Their compatibility with various sanders makes them a flexible choice for different projects.
