  • Product Description
    • 3M Stikit attachment makes changing discs fast and easy
    • Cuts up to 2x as fast as conventional abrasives
    • Film backing for greater tear resistance and edge retention
    • Ideal for a wide variety of substrates and applications focused primarily on stock removal
    • Revolutionary 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology provides fast cut and long life
3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    3M Cubitron II Model

The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc Roll 775L is designed for fast and easy disc changes thanks to the Stikit attachment system. This model offers a reliable solution for abrasive tasks, combining convenience with high performance.

Its 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology ensures a fast cut and long life, making it a standout choice for professionals who need efficiency and durability in their abrasive discs.

    Grade And Backing Details

This product features a 150+ grade, which balances aggressive stock removal with smooth finishing. The film backing provides greater tear resistance and edge retention compared to traditional paper discs.

The film backing also enhances durability, allowing the discs to withstand tough applications without easily tearing or losing shape during use.

    Disc Size And Format

Each disc measures 5 inches in diameter and includes an NH arbor hole size, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of sanding tools. The Stikit format simplifies attachment and removal from backing pads.

This size and format make the discs versatile for various applications, fitting well on random orbital sanders and other disc sanders that accept 5-inch discs with NH arbor holes.

    Roll And Case Packaging

The discs come in rolls of 100, with 4 rolls included per case. This packaging is ideal for users who require a steady supply of abrasive discs for continuous work without frequent reordering.

Having 400 discs per case supports large projects or busy workshops, reducing downtime and ensuring that replacement discs are always on hand when needed.

    Fast Cutting Performance

The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L cuts up to twice as fast as conventional abrasives, thanks to its precision-shaped ceramic grain. This means jobs get done quicker, saving time and effort.

Its design is ideal for stock removal on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood, making it a versatile choice for many industrial and finishing applications.
