  • Product Description
    • Cuts up to 2x as fast as conventional abrasives
    • Film backing for greater tear resistance and edge retention
    • Ideal for a wide variety of substrates and applications focused primarily on stock removal
    • Revolutionary 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology provides fast cut and long life
    • Stikit attachment makes changing discs fast and easy
3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    3M Cubitron II Brand

The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L is a trusted choice for professionals seeking reliable abrasive performance. This model features 3M's Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, which cuts faster and lasts longer than conventional abrasives.

Designed specifically for stock removal, this disc offers a balance of speed and durability. The Stikit attachment system simplifies disc changes, making it a convenient option for busy workshops.

    Grade 80+ Performance

With an 80+ grade, this abrasive disc delivers aggressive cutting power while maintaining control. The grade ensures efficient material removal without sacrificing finish quality.

This grade is suitable for a wide range of substrates, including metals and composites, making it versatile for various applications. It’s ideal when you need consistent, high-performance results.

    Five Inch Size

The disc measures 5 inches in diameter, a common size that fits many standard sanding tools. This size offers a good balance between surface coverage and maneuverability during use.

Its 5-inch dimension makes it compatible with various random orbital sanders and disc sanders, providing flexibility for different sanding tasks and environments.

    Film Backing Durability

This model features a film backing that enhances tear resistance and edge retention compared to paper-backed discs. The film backing helps the disc maintain its shape and performance over time.

Film backing also contributes to longer disc life, especially when working on tough materials. It supports the abrasive grain and prevents premature wear during heavy stock removal.

    Pack Count Convenience

The product comes in a case of 250 discs, packaged as 50 discs per carton. This large quantity supports high-volume operations and reduces the frequency of reordering.

Having a bulk pack ensures you always have discs on hand for continuous work. The Stikit system also makes it easy to swap discs quickly, minimizing downtime.
