These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.
Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
Trusted 3M Cubitron II
The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L is a reliable choice for professionals needing fast and efficient abrasive discs. This model features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, which cuts up to twice as fast as conventional abrasives, making your work quicker and more productive.
Designed for durability and performance, the 775L grade ensures consistent results. The Stikit attachment system simplifies disc changes, saving time on the job. This brand and model combination is well-known for quality and ease of use.
Durable Film Backing Benefits
The film backing on these discs provides greater tear resistance compared to paper-backed alternatives. This means the disc maintains edge retention longer, reducing waste and interruptions during work.
With a 5 inch diameter and NH (non-hole) format, these discs are sturdy and compatible with various sanding tools. The linered backing with tab also helps with easy handling and application.
Efficient Stock Removal Performance
Ideal for stock removal, these discs handle a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. Their fast cutting action helps you remove material quickly without sacrificing finish quality.
The 775L grade and 400+ grit rating make these discs suitable for heavy-duty sanding tasks. They excel in applications where speed and precision are essential, improving overall workflow efficiency.
Convenient Stikit Attachment System
The Stikit system allows for quick and easy disc changes without the hassle of applying adhesive each time. The pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back sticks firmly to Stikit backup pads but peels off cleanly when needed.
This system works with disc pads attached to random orbital sanders, disc sanders, or stationary sanders. It’s designed to reduce downtime and keep your sanding process smooth and uninterrupted.
