These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.
Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
Trusted 3M Cubitron II
The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L is designed for professionals who demand fast, reliable results. This model features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, which cuts up to twice as fast as conventional abrasives, making it a top choice for efficient stock removal.
Its Stikit attachment system simplifies disc changes, saving time on the job. The 775L grade ensures a balance of aggressive cutting and long-lasting performance, ideal for various industrial applications.
Durable Film Backing Benefits
These discs come with a film backing that offers greater tear resistance and edge retention compared to traditional paper discs. This backing enhances durability, allowing the disc to maintain its shape and effectiveness during heavy use.
The 5 inch diameter with NH (non-hole) design fits many standard sanders, making it versatile for different tasks. The linered backing with tab also helps with easy handling and application.
Wide Application Versatility
Ideal for a broad range of substrates, the 3M Cubitron II 775L works well on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. Its design focuses primarily on stock removal, making it suitable for many industrial and manufacturing environments.
The film disc format supports consistent performance across various surfaces, while the 240+ grade ensures fine yet aggressive abrasion for smooth finishes and efficient material removal.
Efficient Stikit Attachment System
The Stikit system allows quick and easy disc changes without the need for adhesive application. This pressure-sensitive adhesive backing sticks firmly to compatible disc pads and can be peeled off cleanly, reducing downtime and mess.
This system requires a Stikit backup pad, which is sold separately, and works with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders, offering flexibility for different sanding tools.
