  • Product Description
    • Cuts up to 2x as fast as conventional abrasives
    • Film backing for greater tear resistance and edge retention
    • Ideal for a wide variety of substrates and applications focused primarily on stock removal
    • Revolutionary 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology provides fast cut and long life
    • Stikit attachment makes changing discs fast and easy
3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    Trusted 3M Cubitron II

The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L is a reliable choice for professionals needing fast and efficient abrasive discs. This model features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, which cuts up to twice as fast as conventional abrasives, making your work quicker and more productive.

Designed for durability, this disc is part of the trusted 3M brand and model line, ensuring consistent performance. Its advanced grain technology also helps the disc last longer, reducing the need for frequent replacements during demanding tasks.

    Grade 220 Plus Quality

This abrasive disc comes in a 220+ grade, offering a fine balance between aggressive stock removal and smooth finishing. The grade is ideal for users who want efficient material removal without sacrificing surface quality.

Whether you're working on metals, composites, or gelcoat, the 220+ grade ensures consistent results. It’s especially useful for applications focused on stock removal, providing a reliable finish across various substrates.

    Durable 5 Inch Size

The disc measures 5 inches in diameter, a common size that fits many standard sanding tools. This size offers a good balance of surface coverage and maneuverability, making it suitable for a wide range of sanding jobs.

Its 5-inch dimension also pairs well with 3M’s Stikit backup pads, allowing for quick disc changes and secure attachment. This size is versatile enough for both handheld and stationary sanding equipment.

    Stikit Format Convenience

The Stikit format means the disc has a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, making it easy to attach and remove from compatible backup pads. This system saves time by eliminating the need to apply separate adhesives.

With the Stikit attachment, changing discs is fast and hassle-free. It works with Stikit backup pads sold separately, which fit various disc sanders, random orbital sanders, and stationary disc sanders.

    Bulk Pack Case

This product comes in a case of 250 discs, packed as five cartons of 50 each. Buying in bulk is cost-effective and ensures you have plenty of discs on hand for ongoing projects.

The large pack size is ideal for workshops or production environments where frequent disc replacement is necessary. It helps maintain workflow without interruptions caused by running out of abrasives.
