  • Product Description
    • Cuts up to 2x as fast as conventional abrasives
    • Film backing for greater tear resistance and edge retention
    • Ideal for a wide variety of substrates and applications focused primarily on stock removal
    • Revolutionary 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology provides fast cut and long life
    • Stikit attachment makes changing discs fast and easy
3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

Our 3M™ Stikit™ system eliminates the time-consuming task of applying adhesive to the disc backing. These high-quality, coated abrasive products come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a Stikit™ backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.

    Trusted 3M Cubitron II

The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L is a reliable choice for fast and efficient abrasive work. This model features the 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, which cuts up to twice as fast as conventional abrasives, making your tasks quicker and more productive.

Designed for professional use, the 775L grade ensures consistent performance. The Stikit attachment system simplifies disc changes, saving time and effort during your projects.

    Durable Film Backing Benefits

This abrasive disc comes with a film backing that offers greater tear resistance compared to paper discs. This backing enhances edge retention, ensuring the disc lasts longer and maintains its shape during tough applications.

The 5 inch diameter with NH arbor size fits a variety of sanders, providing versatility. The linered disc with tab helps with easy handling and application on your sanding tools.

    Wide Application Versatility

The 3M Cubitron II Stikit Film Disc 775L is ideal for stock removal across many substrates. It works effectively on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood, making it a versatile tool for different materials.

Its design supports a broad range of applications, especially where fast and efficient material removal is needed. This makes it suitable for various industrial and workshop tasks.

    Convenient Stikit Attachment

The Stikit system on this 3M abrasive disc eliminates the need for adhesive application. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows quick attachment and removal from compatible disc pads, streamlining your workflow.

Because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, discs can be peeled off cleanly without residue, keeping your disc pads ready for the next use. This system works with Stikit backup pads sold separately.
