    • Film backing for greater tear resistance and edge retention
    • Hook and loop attachment makes disc changes fast and easy

    • Revolutionary 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology provides fast cut and long life
3M Cubitron II Hookit Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

We offer a complete line of hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust or dirt. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately), can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life.

    Trusted 3M Cubitron II

The 3M Cubitron II Hookit Film Disc 775L is designed for professionals who demand fast and reliable cutting performance. This exact model features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, which slices through materials rather than gouging, ensuring a smooth and efficient cut.

With the 180+ grade, this disc balances aggressive stock removal with a fine finish. It’s perfect for users who want the trusted quality of 3M in a disc that lasts longer and cuts faster than conventional abrasives.

    Durable Film Backing Benefits

The disc’s film backing offers greater tear resistance and edge retention compared to traditional paper discs. This means it holds up better during tough jobs, reducing downtime caused by disc damage or replacement.

Thanks to this backing, the 3-inch diameter disc maintains its shape and performance throughout the job. It’s especially useful when working on rough or uneven surfaces where durability is key.

    Fast Hookit Attachment

The Hook and loop attachment system makes changing discs quick and hassle-free. This feature is built into the 3M Cubitron II Hookit Film Disc 775L, allowing users to swap discs without adhesive mess or wasted time.

This system also supports reusing discs until their abrasive life ends, which can save money and reduce waste. It’s ideal for busy workshops where efficiency is important.

    Versatile Size And Format

Measuring 3 inches in diameter with an NH arbor hole, this disc fits a wide range of power sanders and grinders. The size is compact enough for detailed work yet effective for stock removal tasks.

The die 300V format ensures compatibility with many standard tools, making it a flexible choice for various applications. This versatility helps users tackle different substrates without needing multiple disc types.

    Large Pack For Convenience

Available in a case of 250 discs, this pack size supports high-volume use without frequent reordering. The 50 discs per carton packaging makes storage and handling straightforward for busy professionals.

Having a large supply on hand means less downtime and better job flow, especially in industrial or commercial settings where consistent sanding is required.
