3M Cubitron II Hookit Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, for additional durability and edge retention. For best results, pair with 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

We offer a complete line of hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust or dirt. They are often used in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit sanding discs conveniently attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately), can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life.

    Trusted 3M Cubitron II

The 3M Cubitron II Hookit Film Disc 775L is a reliable choice for fast and efficient sanding. This model features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology, designed to cut up to twice as fast as conventional abrasives, making your work quicker and more productive.

With the 120+ grade, this disc balances aggressive stock removal with a smooth finish. It’s perfect for professionals who need consistent performance from a trusted brand and model.

    Durable Film Backing Benefits

This disc uses a film backing instead of paper, which provides greater tear resistance and edge retention. The 6 inch diameter and NH (non-hole) format ensure it fits a variety of sanding tools while lasting longer under tough conditions.

The film backing also helps maintain the disc’s shape and strength, reducing downtime caused by disc damage. This makes it ideal for demanding applications where durability is key.

    Easy Hookit Attachment

The Hookit system allows for quick and easy disc changes, saving time on the job. This hook-and-loop attachment means you can remove and reuse the disc multiple times throughout its life without hassle.

Designed for convenience, the Hookit format is especially useful in dusty or dirty environments where adhesive discs might fail. It also tends to leave finer finishes compared to adhesive-backed discs.

    Wide Application Versatility

These discs are excellent for a broad range of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. They focus primarily on stock removal, making them suitable for many industrial and automotive sanding tasks.

The 775L model’s versatility means it can handle different materials without sacrificing performance, making it a practical choice for workshops with varied sanding needs.

    Large Pack Convenience

This product comes in a case of 250 discs, providing ample supply for extended projects or busy workspaces. The pack size ensures you won’t run out quickly, reducing the need for frequent reordering.

Buying in bulk also offers cost efficiency and keeps your sanding operations running smoothly. The 50 discs per carton format helps with organized storage and easy handling on site.
