  • Product Description
    • Cuts up to 2x as fast as conventional abrasives
    • Hook and loop attachment makes disc changes fast and easy
    • Ideal for a wide variety of substrates and applications focused primarily on stock removal
    • Lasts up to 4x as long as conventional abrasives
    • Revolutionary 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology provides fast cut and long life
3M Cubitron II Hookit Paper Disc 732U features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 4x as long as conventional abrasives.

These discs are ideal for a broad range of applications focused primarily on stock removal, and are effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The C-weight paper backing is well suited for sanding applications where edge retention is not a primary requirement. For best results, pair with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

We offer a complete line of hook-and-loop style 3M™ Hookit™ discs for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust or dirt. They are often used in applications where a 3M™ Stikit™ disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit™ discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive backed discs. Hookit™ sanding discs conveniently attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately), can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life.

    Trusted 3M Cubitron II

The 3M Cubitron II Hookit Clean Sanding Paper Disc 732U is designed for professionals who need reliable performance. This model features 3M’s Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain technology that cuts up to 2x faster than conventional abrasives, making it a smart choice for efficient work.

Its unique design helps reduce gouging and plowing, providing a smoother finish. The 732U model is part of a multi-pack, ensuring you have plenty of discs on hand for continuous use without interruption.

    Wide Grade Range Options

This product comes in a range of grades from 80+ to 220+ C-weight, allowing you to select the right abrasive level for your project. The variety of grades supports different stages of sanding, from aggressive stock removal to finer finishing.

Using the correct grade helps optimize results on various materials. The multi-pack format includes multiple grades, giving you flexibility and convenience for diverse applications.

    Convenient 5 Inch Size

The discs measure 5 inches in diameter, a common size that fits many standard sanding tools. This size balances surface coverage and control, making it suitable for both broad and detailed sanding tasks.

Its compatibility with 5-inch backing pads ensures easy attachment and removal. The 5-inch dimension is ideal for use with 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders, enhancing overall sanding efficiency.

    Hookit Attachment System

The Hookit system allows quick and easy disc changes thanks to its hook and loop attachment. This means less downtime during sanding jobs and more time focusing on the work itself.

Hookit discs also tend to leave finer finishes compared to adhesive-backed discs. They can be removed cleanly and reused multiple times, making them a practical choice for busy workspaces.

    Bulk Pack Convenience

This product comes in a pack of 20 discs per case, providing a cost-effective supply for ongoing projects. Having a multi-pack ensures you won’t run out of discs during critical tasks.

The bulk packaging is ideal for workshops or job sites where frequent disc replacement is needed. It supports continuous work flow and reduces the need for frequent reordering.
