3M Cloth Belt 707E uses a 3M Ceramic Aluminum Oxide Abrasives blend and is designed for light to moderate-pressure stock removal and finishing operations when you need a conformable belt for contoured surfaces. The belt is constructed with a blend of 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and premium aluminum oxide to offer more durability and cutting efficiency over non-ceramic abrasives.

We back it with a flexible rayon cloth backing that easily follows contours and can wrap around parts. Flexibility also makes this belt a good choice when using a soft contact wheel or slack of belt. It can be used wet or dry.

Choose this belt for use on stainless steel, cobalt chrome, titanium, and carbon steel for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and scratch refinement on castings and forgings. To protect heat sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys and cobalt alloys from heat-related stress cracks and discoloration, we incorporated a grinding aid to help reduce running temperatures. Additionally, the abrasive is firmly bonded to the backing with resin to maintain durability under high heat and pressure.
