3M Cloth Belt 707E uses a 3M Ceramic Aluminum Oxide Abrasives blend and is designed for light to moderate-pressure stock removal and finishing operations when you need a conformable belt for contoured surfaces. The belt is constructed with a blend of 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and premium aluminum oxide to offer more durability and cutting efficiency over non-ceramic abrasives.

3M Cloth Belt 707E is constructed with a blend of 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and premium aluminum oxide to give you increased durability and cutting efficiency over non-ceramic abrasives. We back it with a flexible rayon cloth backing that easily follows contours and can wrap around parts. Flexibility also makes this belt a good choice when using a soft contact wheel or slack of belt. It can be used wet or dry.

Choose this belt for use on stainless steel, cobalt chrome, titanium, and carbon steel for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and scratch refinement on castings and forgings. To protect heat sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys and cobalt alloys from heat-related stress cracks and discoloration, we incorporated a grinding aid to help reduce running temperatures. Additionally, the abrasive is firmly bonded to the backing with resin to maintain durability under high heat and pressure.

3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed using our proprietary process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. For increased performance, 707E products feature aluminum oxide blended with 3M ceramic grain for a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability and makes 3M Cloth Belt 707E an excellent choice for moderate stock removal and surface preparation.

Abrasive belts come in many different widths and lengths and are used on a variety of belt sanding tools for many different metalworking applications. At 3M we offer a broad selection of belts to fit most any industrial belt sander. Wider belts are designed for wide belt sanders for flat finishing—to smooth rough cut edges of metal sheets, or add a grain pattern to stainless steel sheets. Medium-width belts are generally used on a backstand for weld removal or on a feed -thru style flat finisher for imparting a finish on sheets or coils. Narrow belts can be used on backstands for grinding and finishing, or on file tools for finishing in right angle corners.

    Reliable 3M Cloth Belt

The 3M Cloth Belt 707E combines the trusted 3M brand with a ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive blend. This model offers enhanced durability and cut-rate compared to standard aluminum oxide belts. Its design supports efficient stock removal and finishing tasks.

Ideal for light to moderate-pressure applications, this belt is perfect when you need consistent performance. The 707E model ensures fewer belt changes, saving time and effort during your projects.

    Precise P120 JE-weight Grade

This belt features a P120 JE-weight grade, balancing cutting power and finish quality. The grade is suitable for blending, deburring, and scratch refinement on various metals, including stainless steel and titanium.

Using the P120 JE-weight helps maintain control during moderate stock removal, making it a versatile choice for dimensioning parts and surface preparation on castings and forgings.

    Flexible Backing Size

The belt measures 2 inches by 132 inches, providing a flexible rayon backing that conforms easily to contoured parts. This flexibility ensures consistent finishing on irregular surfaces and complex shapes.

Its size and backing make it suitable for use with soft contact wheels or slack belt applications. The belt can be used wet or dry, adapting to different working conditions.

    Film-lok Single-flex Format

The Film-lok single-flex format enhances the belt's durability and ease of use. This format supports smooth operation on various belt sanding tools, ensuring the abrasive stays firmly bonded during high heat and pressure.

Single-flex belts like this one are ideal for moderate stock removal and surface finishing, especially on stainless steel, cobalt chrome, and carbon steel materials.

    Convenient Pack Count Case

This product comes in a case of 50 belts, offering great value and convenience for industrial or workshop use. Having a large pack ensures you have enough belts on hand for continuous work without frequent reordering.

The pack size supports efficient workflow in busy environments, making it easy to replace belts as needed while maintaining consistent finishing quality.
