3M Cartridge Roll 341D provides easy access to small, hard-to-reach spaces for sanding and finishing. As the outermost abrasive layer wears down, the cloth backing frays to expose fresh abrasive layers for continued cutting action.

3M Cartridge Roll 341D has a closed coat of aluminum oxide abrasive secured with a heat-resistant resin bond. Cartridge rolls fit onto a cartridge roll mandrel (sold separately) and are ideal for accessing small, hard to reach spaces. 3M Cartridge Roll 341D is used in metalworking applications.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

Heat-resistant resin is a sturdy binding agent that adheres the abrasive to the backing and maintains the stability of the bond even in conditions of high heat or pressure.

Cartridge rolls fit onto a compatible mandrel (sold separately) that attaches to a rotary tool such as a die grinder or drill. Together, the mandrel and cartridge roll enable the user to grind or finish hard-to-reach areas of a workpiece. To ensure correct fit, the center hole diameter of the cartridge roll must be equal to the diameter of the mandrel pilot inserted into the cartridge roll.

    Trusted 3M Cartridge Roll

The 3M Cartridge Roll 341D is a reliable choice for sanding and finishing tasks. This model features the CR-ST format, ensuring compatibility with cartridge roll mandrels for easy attachment and use.

Known for its quality, the 3M brand guarantees consistent performance. The cartridge roll design allows for efficient sanding in tight spaces, making it a practical tool for detailed work.

    Precise P120 X-weight Grade

This cartridge roll comes in a P120 X-weight grade, providing a balanced abrasive strength for effective material removal. The grade ensures a fast cut rate while maintaining control during sanding.

Ideal for metalworking and woodworking, the P120 grade is versatile enough to handle various surfaces. It offers a smooth finish without excessive wear on the abrasive material.

    Compact 1/4 Inch Size

The roll measures 1/4 inch by 1-1/2 inches by 1/8 inch, making it compact and easy to maneuver. This size is perfect for reaching small, hard-to-access areas where larger abrasives can't fit.

Its straight format supports precise sanding in detailed spots. The small dimensions help users work efficiently on intricate projects without sacrificing control.

    Durable Cloth Backing Support

The cartridge roll features a cloth backing that supports heavy sanding tasks. This backing frays as the abrasive wears, exposing fresh abrasive layers to maintain cutting action longer.

This design extends the life of the roll and ensures consistent performance. The cloth backing also withstands pressure, making it suitable for demanding sanding jobs.

    Convenient Case Pack Count

Available in a case of 100 rolls, this pack size offers excellent value for frequent users. Having a large quantity on hand reduces downtime and keeps projects moving smoothly.

The case format is ideal for workshops or professionals who require a steady supply of cartridge rolls. It ensures you’re always prepared for multiple sanding tasks.
